Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United Arab EmiratesThe property is on an island. Getting to and from this island could be tedious as they have limited boats. If you plan to explore krabi and travel outside the resort a Lot his place should be avoided. The speed boat timings are not flexible and gets over crowded at times creating lots of confusion. Plan well in advance and make reservations for the boat if you plan to stay here.
Super rooms, great interiors and facilities. Good food and cocktails multiple restaurants inside.

United KingdomOur flight was late into Krabi and we then were unable to get the boat to the hotel. The hotel did not help us with this issue and insisted we just waited nearly 3 hours for the next one. Instead we had to walk through the ‘monkey trail’ where we encountered snakes and monkeys, not exactly safe. Being in and isolated location really doesn’t help because the ‘pier’ is a jetty that isn’t stable and is actually very dangerous. My expensive shoes were damaged. In conclusion it felt like it was the staff who let it down because they were the ones unwilling to help and were repeatedly lazy
Beautiful views. Great food. fantastic room and amenities. Modern gym. Massages were top tier.

ThailandI was a little surprised guests must take ferry to the resort - but great way to make grand entrance to lovely resort set at the base of huge mountain backdrop.
View from room on the hill side overlooking Krabi bay was dramatic. Buffet breakfast very complete. Front office staff very helpful and patient.

United Kingdoma few things weren’t explained on arrival so we had to bother reception a few times … it was our honeymoon and they thought it was a birthday :( also there was confusion when we left the boat had been booked but not the private transportation to the airport so lucky we had given ourselves a lot of time otherwise we would’ve missed our flight ..
Having a private beach away from the hustle :)

United KingdomThe location, even though it was great, I also felt trapped sometimes as there was so “easy” way out.
The hotel is placed on a private beach and it’s very pretty and exclusive. However, it makes things quite challenging if you want to arrange outside activities or simply go to the close Ao Nang. The monkey trail would be the “easiest” option but it can be quite tricky especially at night or if it’s raining. Otherwise there’s also the complimentary speed boat transfer but again, it’s not close to Ao Nang and you will need to get a tuktuk or taxi to get there. If you are looking for a stunning resort and just relax for your holiday, this is your place. However, I felt stuck most of the times as there was no easy way out.

United Arab EmiratesAccessibility is a big problem if you are reaching late.. had to hire a Private boat to reach the property as hotel has their own schedule and ends at 11pm. I booked a boat and regretted after sitting in it thinking whether I will make it or not in such crooked boat.
Amazing island and amazing views.

United States of Americaneeds upkeep. my sliding door had a bent strike plate that should have been replaced. light switches have obsolete buttons. lavatory sink and faucet are rudimentary (if they want to be a “Grand” resort). although the rooms are nice and clean they are more likely a 3star and feel overpriced
the food was good.

GermanyA bit difficult to get in to town, the monkey trail is doable but you get very sweaty. The resort is also very spread out so to get from our room to the beach/pool/breakfast it was a sweaty 5 min walk, with lots of stairs.
Fantastic location, stunning views out across the sea. Really attentive staff. All you could want is on site...canoes, stand up paddling, pool, restaurants, spa etc. really really great place

IrelandWish they organised kayaking and paddling for guests free of charge and let the guests know about this if it's already an option upon check-in and in the brochure
This place was the highlight of our trip to Thailand. Separated by a short Monkey trail from Ao Nang beach Centara Grand has a unique atmosphere of privacy and class. We loved the beach and the rooms were beautiful, but most of all loved the long tail monkeys on site. Another great aspect of this hotel is proximity to Railay Beach which is a must visit if you are spending a couple of night at Centara. Book a table by the beach on nights when they have a fire show and on other night venture out to Ao Nang for abundance of street food, markets and decent restaurants.

United KingdomThe hotel has the potential to be stunning but there are a number of things that let it down. 1. There are not enough sunbeds for the guests. In such circumstances it would be sensible to remove towels from beds that had not been occupied for a certain length of time and to buy more beds. 2. The hotel is only accessible by boat (as clearly noted) which means dinner will be at the hotel. The hotel has four restaurants but with two being Japanese and Indian, specialist tastes? then there is a bistro which was fine and the Thai restaurant which was very disappointing. The setting was fine but the food was the worst we had on our seventeen. Our experience confirmed the poor ratings on trip advisor. 3. The hotel is getting tired.
It is a great setting and the room and views were superb. We had booked an premium deluxe ocean view and were upgraded to include a Jacuzzi which had the benefit of giving us a top floor room and great views. Super for lying by the pool and looing out over the sea.

United KingdomYou need to be aware that getting to this hotel requires a boat, which the hotel operate from a pier in town. It's a great service and works very well but just be aware that you will be using it. The hotel has a floating jetty so if you struggle with walking or have balance issues it's probably not the easiest entrance. That said the staff are excellent and will assist anyone who needs it to get to the beach. Food is good. The sushi was excellent but the beach bar food was a little mediocre.
The Staff were excellent and very helpful. The property is beautiful and the fact that it is in its own private cove makes it really special.
