It's Not a case of not liking this hotel. Just a note to say, you are literally next to the runway of Ko Samui airport.. So every half hour you felt the full force of planes landing

We used Fueangfu Villa for one night. The room was lovely. Coffee and tea were available by reception 24/7 . Just help yourself. Our host was sweet . She was a lovely lady ( quiet) The Villa was very convenient for Samui airport. 10 minutes in a cab for around 300 Bht

Tv did not work despite being advertised (it was mentioned to us very casually as a matter of fact), a/c was not strong enough to cool the room, the tap was broken and was hard to close and open

The breakfast was above average and no complaints. The staff was very polite almost timid or scared of the guests. But all in all a decent stay

Overall, the cottages are nice, and the owner is lovely. However, it's worth noting a few points: - The shower had intermittent water pressure, fluctuating between stronger and weaker intervals inconsistently - The location is extremely close to the airport, resulting in considerable noise from passing planes - There are limited amenities nearby (such as shops or restaurants), necessitating the need for a scooter

It is so close to Airport. Therefore. plane noise disturbes so much. There should be better sound insulation.

The bathrooms need a shower curtain or door, the water goes everywhere.

It’s right by the airport, we walked there. Check planes arriving and leaving if noise bothers you. There weren’t any from 10pm until 7am ish when we stayed. It’s a more traditional villa which we loved.

The room smelled bad and the cleaning was not the best. Would recommend for one night just to be close to the airport. It costs more than many other accommodations but the price is not worth the quality, exclusively for the convenience of reaching the airport on foot.

The location is super good! if you need to stay close to the airport, here you will find the best solution in all of Koh Samui. You can easily walk to the airport from the hotel.

I stipulated on my booking form, I wanted a double bed.. I don't think this was understood because the host who greeted me when I arrived, didn't seem to speak a word of English. And, after she tried to offer me a twin single bed room and I said No.. she tried to suggest to push the beds together. She then changed the room for me.. she spent a while on the phone talking in Thai with a guy. I asked about a transfer to the airport and she gave me her phone and just assumed I would speak with the guy.. anyway he offered a 3-minute drive to the airport for 200THB which was a complete rip off! So I declined. I didn't see the host again, and wasn't given any welcome, or info on how to check out in the morning. I got the feeling she was doing someone a favour, and isn't the usual, main host.. but she came across as a little cold and disinterested. She didn't smile once! There was a bit of a funny smell in the room, from the AC, I think.. And there was no kettle or coffee making stuff, as advertised. Not the end of the world at all.. but just sloppy. The location is ideal for early next morning flights, but it's in the middle of nowhere with no outside lighting, or quick access to a 7/11 or Family Mart. There are loads of hotels in the area that will probably make you feel more welcome and not try to rip you off for a taxi to the airport. I don't think many single female travellers would feel safe here at all! Having said that, it was quiet and peaceful from my perspective.

You can hear the departures and landings

The staff was very welcoming and accepted us even on nine pm with no problem. The room probably wasn't rented for a while so there were a few tiny problems that were solved immediately which is very appreciated.

I've been living in Thailand for the last five years, this hotel should review the pricing. I wouldn't even pay half of what I actually payed for this poor quality. The room was clean but heavy stained bedsheets. Evasive receptionist Old furniture and decoration It's very sad as there is a great potential.
