The path from Family Song to the beach was always a bit smelly and dirty from the resort kitchen next door.

The main great takeaway here was the rule about no noise after 11pm. Indeed it was very peaceful all the time. Koh Lipe is a beautiful island with a busy atmosphere on its main beach. The sea was always crystal green / blue.

Could have had little better kept grounds. The approach from the beach is along a service road to another hotel, which was often blocked by bikes, had lying water or smelt.

Close to the arrival spot / beach / walking street. Staff were helpful. Room was clean and serviced each day.

A bamboo bungalow is just not the same for a sound sleep compared with a solid building. But for Koh Lipe, the price is unbeatable. Side alley between the beach and accomodation.

Bed was made and excess sand removed from the room every day. Helpful staff and friendly atmosphere. The two big fans in my bamboo bungalow were necessary!

Lighting in the bedroom area was completely inadequate, very dark even during the day. As per other reviews, you can hear absolutely everything outside and from your neighbours. If you are unfortunate to have inconsiderate neighbours, be prepared to be woken very early or kept up late at night.

Close to beach and beach mats available from reception. Bungalow cleaned everyday, with fresh toiletries, clean cups and glasses. 2 towel changes in the 5 nights stayed. Lift to far end of beach for departure ferry was appreciated.

I could bot sleep at all after the first night as too much Neiße of animals inside and ourside the bungalow as you hear everything. Changed to another room then with extra costs then which was a bit better. The owners also have dogs which were one time banking at me that made me really scared. The second time one went inside my Terrasse and snatched away my cereal Bar, I was eating...should not be like that and would not stay there again.

we woke up every morning to loud working sounds which was frustrating as we wanted to relax in our days off. it would of been nice to know when we checked in, if it wasn’t for that it’s a 10/10 stay!

The bathroom on the back side of the apartment was open to the elements and the wildlife. As you are on the edge of the jungle, expect to share your showers with a few visitors including Frogs/Toads (not sure which species they were), Centipedes, Mosquitos, Ants, Butterflies, Gecko's, Wasps & Cockroaches, amongst others.

Great location 50m from the beach. As it was a diving holiday, it was the perfect place to stay, Fridge and Laptop Safe provided, plus plenty of trips to book on reception including fishing and snorkeling. Also very easy to book your ferry/speedboat on reception and get a lift to the pick up point. Coffee and Tea provided on reception, as well as beach towels/Mats and snorkeling equipment for a small charge.

Thin walls (Of course, it's a bungalow. So nothing particularly bad with this specific bungalow) - The owners dogs were really happy and playful, and sometimes didn't respect your physical boundaries. Didn't bother us, but good to know if you're afraid of or allergic to dogs

Booked 2 nights to start with, but added 3 extra nights because we loved to place so much - Amazing staff! Helpful and friendly - Cleanest and most well taken care of bungalow I've ever slept in - Super cosy porch with hammock and seating area - Close to the beach and walking street. Had everything we needed within walking distance, whilst feeling comfortably isolated in our garden
