Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.

All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. The room was large with an extremely comfortable bed which also had a beautiful view. The location was great being a 5 minute walk from sairee beach which is surrounded by bars and shops. Also the resident cats were great.

IndiaThe view!!! We got the room right at the beach overlooking the ocean at the bottom of the hill. If you dont mind the extra steps, do ask for this room. The infinity pool with the sea as a backdrop makes for an amazing place for insta worthy photos. There were three beds in the room and not a lot of floor space but big enough. Watermelon during welcome was a nice touch. There is a bike rental right opposite. Very close to pier on one side and sairee beach on the other.

SpainNothing, it was perfect!
I don’t know where to start! The location is perfect, just 1 minute from Sairee, so perfect to walk everywhere. The resort has an amazing swimming pool with ocean views and a private little beach where you can watch the sunset. Honestly, this place is a dream. Also the staff where lovely and helped us with everything. I will come back to Koh Tao and for sure to this place.

South AfricaThe bathroom was way too small, as the shower wets everything including the toilet. Once the floor is wet, you need to be careful not to slip whilst using the toilets etc, as the floor takes a while to dry. The WiFi stopped working in the last few days and we had a power cut one night, so went to bed really hot. Fortunately it came back on in the early hours of the morning. The beds were extremely hard. The thatch roofs need repair.
We liked the location of the property as it was close to everything. The pool was great and the view was excellent. The owner made sure we received a platter of beautifully sliced watermelon every day. The room was well cleaned and they were very friendly and helpful.

United KingdomRoom was a triple so had an extra single bed which we didn’t need and made the room quite cramped. No where to sit and get ready , no plugs within a good distance to the mirror area. No breakfast included as advertised unless that was the daily water melon. Shower is right by the toilet so everything gets wet including the toilet when you take a shower but space is limited.
The view was just amazing, resort reminded us of a mini golf course with pristine white waffled walls curved steps down to the front and Astro turf areas. We had room 2 and we think that room was the best view on the resort right by the rocks that lead into the sea, you get an Astro turfed area where there is a slightly raised basket seated area you can just chill and watch the sunset on or the boats go by. Snorkelling literally on our doorstep couldn’t have been nicer. Staff were friendly , had daily water melon and the manager was friendly checking unobtrusively if all was ok. Room itself was tastefully modern and clean, Water boiler in room was very useful and decent size fridge but was a bit big for the room. Lots of restaurants within walking distance and all other things you might need not too far to walk too. We ate at In Touch food was amazing and lots of choice.

United States of AmericaWhile I understand it is was a bungalow, there was a few ants you would find on the counter, even without having food out they covered most personal belongings on the counter but seemed to be mostly by the windows and didn't get near out bags or the bed.
Unbeatable views and a small private beach at the base of the resort. The pool was a good size and had lots of places to lounge. it was about halfway between Mae Haad Beach and sairee beach which made it ideal to explore both parts. A/C blew cold and at night it was a perfect temp. They provided complementary water bottles daily and the room had a large minifridge to keep them cool.

Ireland- Upkeep of the grounds: pool could be much better tended to. Grounds are in a bit of a state. So many shrubs need pruning. Staff’s idea of cleaning the pavement seemed to be setting off a hose and letting it rip through the gravelly steps for hours on end? Bizarre. Really takes the shine off the place because the grounds and surrounds of the property have great potential but just not maintained well. Same goes for pool furniture- it was just not cleaned at all seemingly. - Zero lighting by the pool: really dangerous and loads of steps, could be a massive health and safety hazard and unthinkable how someone has not yet been hurt - “Wet room” in the bathroom has been taken to a new level, ie. the shower is above the toilet! - Reception: the reception area is effectively a shack and quite unsightly with Christmas decorations up and Christmas music still playing (in April) - Towels were of a poor quality. While I would recommend this place given limited affordable options in Koh Tao, it is plagued by unfulfilled potential and while staff are pleasant, some more training in hospitality and how to run this place may go a long way to helping this place along!
- Fabulous location - Amazing to have a lodge overlooking the beautiful sea - Good sized beds - Rooms were well made up everyday and loads of free water bottles supplied - Staff were accommodating in arranging taxis when asked - Options are scarcer than one would like when visiting and this is well located, comfortable and has a touch of “wow” considering the view - Infinity pool is a cool feature

United KingdomWe had one of the bungalows overlooking the pool and were very happy with our stay there. The infinity pool overlooks the beach and the resort has a great view of the sunset! Fresh watermelon is provided to guests every day which was a great touch. Breakfast (served in restaurant next door) was also very nice.

This hotel is a small family friendly hotel. Rooms are spacious inside and outside. Comfortable beds as shower. Outside you have a big terrace with lounge chairs. Perfect to see the sunrise or sunset. Everyday the room is cleaned and in the afternoon you will get fresh watermelon. The owner is very friendly and he will help you with everything for a very good price. We arranged our motorbikes, fishtail and some taxi boats which were great! The swimmingpool is big abd very welcoming after a hot walk or ride. Overall this hotel is very family friendly, no noise at night and great place to stay as a family because the bungalow are quiet big!

Switzerland- the beach triple bungalow had very old doors which were not secure. There was a padlock available but the door was warped and left gaps which meant the cool A/C air escaped and mosquitos could enter. To add to this the windows are single glazed - the wardrobe was falling apart - the curtains do not cover all the window and let in the light - Some of the outdoor plastic furniture was not clean - bathroom lighting not sufficient Please bear in mind that we booked the two triple beach bungalows at the resort which we didn’t realize they were the most basic on the resort. The Deluxe bungalows are much more modern and comfortable so pick wisely.
- the manager was friendly and helpful - the swimming pool and view is gorgeous shaded by lovely trees - nice loungers - free watermelon and water every day - direct access to the sea - rooms cleaned daily with fresh towels - we stayed in the beach triple bungalow and benefited from a brand new bed - large fridge - good shower - sunset views from our balcony - there was an issue with the A/C which the manager helpfully resolved quickly

United KingdomBathroom was quite small and shower and toilet in the same room. However, shower was good.
Excellent location and good facilities. Great pool and access to a private beach. Room was basic but clean and beds were very comfortable. We were really grateful to the hotel host who allowed us to leave our bags on our last day as our train was at 3pm. He also invited us to use the outdoor pool, booked our taxi and even have us water free of charge.

Great location right on the beach, lovely pool and friendly staff. Was only a 10 min walk from the pier, there is a steep bit but not very long (10metres). Private beach is good for snorkelling. Bungalow was lovely and spacious enough for a family of 4. Amazing restaurant next door overlooking the sea too
