Lack of breakfast food and beer ran out.

Unfortunately we were the last group before challah closes down. Breakfast very limited, and the last four days we ate elsewhere because of lack of food for breakfast.

lack of tourists meant immediate area not as lively as usual. staff did the best they could.

hotel (cabins) was comfortable and spacious. very clean. staff were excellent and very attentive. not many there due to prior to start of tourism season. lots of bars and restaurants along the two mile stretch.

Absolutely nothing.

Reviews do not do this place enough, you have to go and judge for yourself. But don’t be surprised if I say you will book again. On the beach and great bar next door . Your Place Bar and all on the waters edge with views that are breathtaking.

The property is dated and could definitely do with some maintenance and TLC but this did not make our stay any less comfortable or pleasant. The family unit we stayed in was much more expensive than if we had just booked 2 interleading double rooms and not worth the extra money so if you are travelling with kids I would recommend booking 2 doubles with interleading door rather than the family unit.

Chalala is in an excellent location, an easy walk to the bustling main street and a 711 right across the road. It is also on the beach although you can't swim in the sea directly in front of the lodge, but it's only a short walk to where you can comfortably swim. The pool is a bonus and the massages offered at the property were great! We used the restaurant once or twice but mainly ate in different restaurants for variety. If you are looking for a more affordable option in the Chaweng Beach area then I can highly recommend it.

Absolutely everything! Rooms were airy and spacious and clean. The gardens were beautiful and lush. The beach was stunning with some of the best island landscapes to be seen. The staff throughout the resort were helpful and friendly.

Koh Samui has a chronic water shortage, so I would have accepted sheet changes every few days, not every day as it was.

Great little hotel on the outskirts of Chaweng, but an easy walk into town even for me at 71. Very quiet, very comfortable, good food and drinks at reasonable prices. Vert fast WiFi (100Mbps). And the staff are superb.

excellent value for money, very clean. fresh towels daily and the staff were all very helpful! location is in a quieter part of Chaweng (which was perfect for us!) and the beach bar/restaurant next door (called “your place”) was an excellent little place to stop on the way home

Our room needs some renovation. like in many places in Thailand we founded 3 big cockroaches in the room.

Good location, by the sea. Many shop’s nearby, market, pharmacy. Friendly employees, room cleaning everyday, also change the towels. Comfortable beds.

N/A...oh wait, there was a spider in the shower on the last day....which cut my shower short! Cheeky bugger! Overall, my stay was GREAT!

This property was by far one of the nicest places I have stayed in Thailand, the walk down to the rooms set the tone, it was peaceful and quiet and full of greenery. The room was outstanding; very spacious, clean, airy and SUPER comfortable!!! The air-conditioning sure did its job, so coming back to the room was always a treat!!! The whole ambiance was perfect, from transitioning from the room, to the pool, to a massage and then some delicious food, all in all I would 100% recommend this property!

There was nothing to do with chalala, but the beach in front was littered at times with rubbish and plastic, and this spoilt the most wonderful view

This was our third visit to chalala and loved every minute. The bungalows were comfortable and clean but in need of a little TLC. The staff were extremely helpful. Excellent value for money.

Although we only stayed for 2 days, we wished we could have stayed longer. This small, exceptional clean little paradise, is a well kept secret. Lots of the other guests we met said they go back year after year and we now know why. The staff are super helpful and very kind. It’s a very charming place that the photos don’t do justice. Our teenager loved the loft and the massages. Book this one!

Nothing to not like.

We loved it here. Feels quaint, helpful and bright staff, just a tich out of the busy/loud area. Great pool and food. 711 right across the street, taxi trucks out front, close to the Big Buddha and restaurants.
