Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesReally comfortable rooms with A/C in a great location. Super clean and quiet. And the manager Win is always making sure you are comfortable and checking in to see if you need anything. There is a fridge, kettle, and toaster oven you can use. There is a big lobby you can eat in or hang out in. The bathrooms are clean, and the security is great.

IrelandI thought it was a bit awkward to get the keys cause unfortunately there’s isn’t a reception desk or anything. The owner is just a few minutes away and can be called and informed of your check in/check out time in advance, but a smoother process would have been better.
Really clean property, beds were comfortable and AC worked very well. The bathrooms are immaculately clean, and the shower works well. It’s right in the start of the night bazaar, so it’s in a great location.

Located in a very convenient area, right at the beginning of night bazaar street. Close to 7-eleven, many atms, fresh market, food everywhere. Nice coffee shop on the 1st floor if that’s your thing. Not so many rooms so the shared bathroom was super easy and always clean. Big thanks to Win who gave me valuable tips from day 1 and was always checking on me if everything was going ok. Very good internet and free drinking water.

Great spot near the night bazaar that still stays quiet when it's time for bed. The host is super kind and offers much of his time to make you feel at home and make your life easier. He gives great tips and recommendations as well. Overall, great base for a longer stay in Chiang Mai. Everything you'll need is around the corner and still easy to walk or scoot around from here. Clean and comfortable rooms, showers, and common area downstairs in the coffee shop. We stayed once and then when we came back to CM we stayed again. You'll see why.
