Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

The place is great (pretty decoration, modern, clean, good breakfast…), but above all it is important to mention how welcomed I was. I had had some rough few days and my journey to Bangkok started with delayed flight and my luggage not arriving with me. And I landed too late to go shopping and couldn’t rush since I have a broken foot. Not only Miss Pong waited for me whilst my delay meant arriving at the hotel after hours, but she went above and beyond to help me as I had no clothes to change. I don’t think I can remember being welcomed as well anywhere else. I can’t thank you enough.

What an amazing place! Having read other people's reviews, I had a high expectation; this place exceeded that expectation! The host and the staff were super nice, friendly, and helpful. The room is huge and has everything you need (and more!). I felt at home right away and looked forward to coming back to Casa Luna every day. The location is very central, near many attractions as well as train lines. I look forward to coming back in near future! Highly recommended.

GermanyThe building has some flows - not well isolated -you will hear the stuff at 6;30(mopping bucket ) and in case other guests or neighbors are loud . The sewage not the best - one minute in the shower and you have a lot of water that is not drained and then you will have the smell.
The location for us was very convenient as we like to walk. China town / river side and shopping area at walking distance. As well skyline 10 min walking. We loved the host Miss Pong - she was super helpful and gave us very good advices on how better to organize our days as first timers in the city. The breakfast minimal but did the job - I guess you will need more diversity for longer stays. The house has a relaxing area very nice and you can use the kitchen as well laundry service ( do it yourself ) very eficient

AustraliaThe host, Pong is an absolute delight. From the moment we stepped foot inside (hot and sweaty from a long 24hrs of travel) she made us feel so welcome and comfortable. The place is immaculate, beautifully decorated and modern. Pong gave us a small tour of the property and all its facilities. We had some questions about posting things home and she went above and beyond by calling around and getting quotes from different companies for our package. The room was super clean, spacious with a comfortable bed and cold airconditioning. The location can't be beat, just a few mins walk from the main road and 12mins walk from Phaya Thai station (direct line from Suvarnabhumi) yet far enough away to feel like we were in a quiet oasis. Breakfast was a delicious spread of options, a great way to start the day. We are sad we couldn't stay longer, but will always come back here when in Bangkok.

Very pleasant hotel, only small but comfortable. If you like finding little gems instead of large hotels this would be a good choice. Just off Petchaburi Road. You need GPS to find it

Germanythat we had to leave after 2 days because the holiday was over :-((
This small hotel is a gem! The historic building was completely refurbished and incredibly tastefully renovated in 2023. Almost everything here is perfect. Not only super clean, but also very tastefully decorated with lots of wood. You step inside and feel flattered. The furnishings are new, the beds are very comfortable, the bathroom with dark slate-look tiles is very clean and inviting, not only our room (R31) but also the entire reception, breakfast and lounge area are very cosy and flooded with light. The absolute highlight in R31, however, is the breathtaking 120° view of the Bangkok skyline, by night as well as by day! And that's not all: the breakfast included in the price was by far the best on our entire trip to Thailand. Especially recommended: the banana bread. Pang (the manager/receptionist) is very friendly, welcoming and helpful with any requests. The location is also very good: numerous restaurants (also for the fatter wallets) and cookshops (Thai, Turkish, Malay, Arabic, Japanese) within walking distance, and you can also get a taxi very quickly on the main road 300 metres away. Highly recommended!

United StatesThe property was very clean, had enough space in the room, and was walking distance to stores. The front desk staff member was so accommodating and very helpful. She even gave us a local lesson on how to get to places and which were the best places to visit. The breakfast was delicious and had a large variety. You MUST stay here if you come to Bangkok!

Chinathe location is not the most convenient, but it's very quiet and nice to have a city walk around.
This building is very cute and cozy. The room is clean and beds are comfortable. The owner is a very nice lady, who is extremely helpful and patient. She gave us trip advice and helped us to organize the route to DMK airport, which is a little bit complicated while works well. I love this short stay here and I'll definitely come back next time.
