Staff is absolutely amazing! Helpful, humble and always greeting you with a smile. The hotel room was clean, spacious and came with free coffee, kettle, toaster and smart-tv. Schampoo and shower gel was refilled every day. Very good location and close to everything - beach, restaurants, night market and beach. Lovely mountain view from the balcony. Loved the place so much we decided to extend our stay for another few nights!

Absolutely nothing

We have been travelling the world for over two years and this is hands down the best place we have ever stayed!! The family that run the hotel are the most welcoming and friendly people, honestly felt so at home. Go above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need, they even remembered our names and greeted us every morning. We were only supposed to stay 3 nights but ended up booking an extra 3 as we didn’t want to leave. The rooms are really nice, bed is comfy, air con works well and they clean your room every day and restock with bottled water. It’s really close to lots of bars and restaurants but nestled down a little side street so you can’t hear any noise at night , very peaceful. You can also rent scooters from them and book trips with them both for a very reasonable price! I honestly could go on about how amazing this place is, do yourself a favour and book this hotel!! You will not regret it! I will definitely be returning and look forward to seeing the family again ❤️

The hotel is in an excellent location, Lamai beach is a short walk away. The hotel has a good variety of restaurants and bars, catering to both international and Thai foods plus many shopping and massage spas also nearby. The hotel is in the centre of the town, but is a quiet and peaceful location to stay. The hotel and the rooms are very clean and comfortable, with a good bed and bathroom, and a pleasant balcony and seating area to relax on. The hotel staff are so friendly and helpful to everyone, they make you feel part of the family when staying at the hotel. They can provide information and arrange everything you need while in Lamai Beach. A friendly, comfortable hotel which is good value for money.

The staff and Nong particularly is so nice and helpul at your arrival. The rooms are very clean, comfortable and isolated from the nose of the main road. I has my best nights at Ko Samui in that hotel. The location s perfect to access the beaches and the restaurant. I will definitly come back to that hotel the next time I am at Ko Samui

The only thing was the AC was not that powerful so some nights were quite warm. Not sure if this was just our room. Maybe a fan could have helped.

The owner is so so lovely. She was always there if we needed anything. Every time we came down she greeted us with a smile. Bed was comfy and the room had everything you needed. Even a toaster, which came in handy. Great location, can walk anywhere in Lamai, however the property is set back from the street so extremely quiet!

One of the friendliest staff we have come across, very helpful and knowledgeable of good places to eat and activities,and also rented mopeds at a very cheap rate. The room was very clean and everyday the bedding and towels were changed and room cleaned. Even offered beach towels to use which was a short walk away Bars and restaurants all close by only a few short steps away but the room was down a side street so very quiet and peaceful , a comfortable bed and nice hot shower and the tv even has Netflix and YouTube, Would definitely recommend and we are returning after a few weeks when we finish visiting the other islands in the area to stay again

The shower wasn’t the best, but it didn’t impact the quality of our stay at all.

The lady on reception was one of the nicest people we’ve met whilst travelling - she was extremely welcoming, attentive and made an effort to remember our names from when we checked in; she made us feel very comfortable from the offset. Albeit a bit dated, the room was clean, comfortable and had more than everything we needed for our stay (kettle, TV, even a toastie grill). The room was cleaned and amenities replenished everyday which was really nice. The location is good for Lamai - with a 24 hour shop at the end of the street and a very short walk to the beach and night market. We were given amazing recommendations for food etc from the kind lady on reception and were able to rent a scooter from the hotel to go places outside of Lamai. Amazing stay, thank you so much!

Really really attentive staff, the homeliest we have felt away from home! Clean rooms and great location in Lamai, had a laundry service (colours separated) and bike rental available with no deposits. Even when we had a punctured tyre, they were quick to help and find a cheap fix for us even with the songkran celebrations. Will definitely be returning given the chance in the future!

The location was perfect in the main area of town but off the main road tucked in the back so it was very quiet and away from cars and the busyness of the streets. The staff were incredible and so kind and accommodating. We highly recommend this stay and loved our time there.

One of the best Booking experience so far! I am travelling on a low budget and unfortunately needed to change my accomodation in the last minute due to some unpleasant reasons. I decided to book Bonny hotel based on good reviews and it totally exceeded my expectations. The most important thing for me is cleanliness and I can give this hotel 10/10 for making me feel so comfortable! Furtniture is a bit older but it doesnt change the fact that there was everything I needed and what was most important for me - bed and pillows were really comfy. Owner is extremely nice and kind, I would like to thank her for making me feel good, safe and like at home. Location was perfect, three steps from the main street but still in a quite part, so I didnt hear the noise from the street at all. And another bonus, Lamai beach was lovely, so far my fav for longer stay in Thailand. I will definitely come back for a longer time, not only 2 weeks. See you soon!

Good location, 5 mins walk to the beach (2nd left beside McDonald's!) Hosts, lovely mature ladies, very friendly, warm and know the names of all guests. Free bottled water daily & very clean

Really minor points: Water pressure in the shower is weak. The wi-fi signal is not so good.

Everything was just perfect! The staff, the location, the room, overall atmosphere. I'd definitely stay here again if I come to Lamai. One of the few places where you can actually direct the aircon flow away from the bed! The blackout curtains are super thick which is good too.

I booked Bonny Hotel after reading previous reviews and was not disappointed. The location is perfect for lamai and the two ladies who run the hotel are excellent, extremely friendly and helpful. I booked one of their scooters during my stay, they booked my taxi and ferry ticket for me and I also had all my washing done before leaving. I can highly recommend and would stay there again.

Given all the pluses, the hotel should be upgraded (furniture and all), rather than be left in a "it works as is" state.

Close to the beach (300m), location vs. main road, staff is super friendly and helpful, cleanliness of rooms and being asked almost daily if you'd want it cleaned-up :) Value for money.
