Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

SpainGreat location in the old town. Room was big but lot of mosquitoes. However, we asked the owner for some repellent and at the end he went to buy one, so it was okay. Had an early bus and they very kindly left the breakfast ready on a bag to take away.

United KingdomI stayed for 5 nights and my bedding was not changed once. I asked to get a clean towel but none arrived so found one myself. The room was on the 4 th floor with no lift. It’s ok unless you forget something when you get to bottom and have to go back up!!!! In reading room description it says use of hairdryer but I didn’t see one. The toilet cubicles were very small.
The bed was the softest I have ever had in Thailand so very comfortable. The pillow was also nice and soft. The location is superb with the market a few doors up. Lots of bars massage parlours and restaurants. The bathroom area had drying racks for your clothes. The water pressure was good and the temperature was nice in the showers. Would stay again for a few nights if I could have a second floor room?

United KingdomIt was on the 4th floor and no lift. It said there was a hairdryer but I couldn’t find it. Also the TV was not working.
The location is the best, It was nice to get the breakfast included with this room (Suite). The air-conditioning worked well. The Room had a desk and a chair so was comfortable to work from. Water pressure for shower was good.

United KingdomThe balcony was blocked off with wooded slates, you couldn’t see out. The WiFi was terrible in the room so I had to go downstairs to get it working. I could not control the air con the remote was locked. The room felt a little cramped, no space.

United KingdomRoom I had was quite small so if you were more than one person, this might be tight with storage and general space. It was a little noisy when other guests came back with opening their doors.
Location very good. Breakfast was tasty and included. I found bed comfy and cosy. Staff were nice and helpful. They booked me an early taxi to airport. wifi was also good and I was on the top floor!! There is also massage place ran by same family. It was often busy in the evenings and I loved the smell of the balm as I walked to my room.
