My return trip to Kata beach this Resort will always be my first choice hotel resort at the Andaman Cannacia Resort. From the friendly reception of all the staff to the overall amenities of the resort to the size and function of the fabulous room with a beautiful sea view.

One water bottle had been open from the guests before and I got charged for that. It only had a small amount taken from it.

They have a taxis service to the beach that was great.

The service at the restaurant was great however I wasn't impressed when I was charged 55 Baht for two thirds of a glass of soft drink. I don't think VAT was included in their pricing as well which I was not aware of until the check out. The power to our room was shut off one hour prior to check out and the hot water surged continuously in the shower.

Loved the service. The staff were fantastic and very friendly. The pool lovely and the view over Kata Beach was amazing. Happy Hour drinks were a hit also. Being offered cocktails whilst swimming in the pool is pretty special.

The room could do with a proper clean, you can see the dust around the edge of the bed where the cleaners haven't touched, we were there 3 nights and they cleaned our room once. The cleaner spent more time on her phone in the hall than cleaning rooms. At check-in, we were told that we wouldn't have water the next day from 10 am to 3 pm, then it was 12 pm to 5 pm. The bed was on the harder side.

We booked the honeymoon room, as we got married the day after we arrived, the room was very big, big bed, great view from the balcony and the spa on the balcony was fantastic! Staff were great and very helpful. The breakfast buffet wasn't too bad and could have a little more variety in hot food. We had dinner there in the restaurant one night, the food was fantastic!

A bit far from beach .(shuttle needed). very steep alot of stairs and no elevator . NOT wheelchair friendly.

Hotel was spacious, clean and updated. Pool was great and so was the restaurant. Our room was comfortable and was serviced daily. Staff were very accommodating and there was a tuk tuk that went to and from Kata beach every hour, free of charge

Some of the facilities were in disrepair or had been neglected (no doubt during the COVID-19 pandemic). I'd love to see this hotel back operating in peak condition.

This hotel has a really great location and view of Kata beach below. It's a bit of a difficult walk down and definitely up, but we rented a motorcycle which for us was easy. The pool area and rooms are nicely decorated and pretty.

When it rains the sunbed on balcony gets wet and can't sit outside the next day

There were frogs and lots of bugs outside the room, some even flew in. Got stung by insects when walking back from kata beach and had a swollen finger.

Room was very spacious for 3 and the view was breathtaking !

The lobby is without an AC so if you arrived before 2 you will have to wait in the hot weather to get a room there is not an even a place where you can stay. The breakfast is the same every day and if you are Muslim, you will only eat potato and egg.

The pool is nice, the room clean and the design of the hotel is beautiful, and some of the stuff are nice only some. when you arrive, they’re going to give you a drink which is a very nice touch.

The room was absolutely beautiful and it was nice to overlook Kata beach from the hill that we are on. It is not a far walk to Kata beach, but coming back that hill can be a killer!

it’s a green resort, so air conditioning was turned off and rooms got terribly hot..a pipe burst in the bathroom at 6am and flooded the bathroom and room, did not get offered to move room, nor did we get any compensation for having to vacate our room whilst it was fixed..Breakfast is terrible, no variety, very very bland.

They tell you a sea view room but trees block the whole view. Insisted on better view room as we paid for it finally got a new room. They don't mention that the hotel is on a very steep hill. Walking up it is not recommended unless your young or fit. It's a short walk but it's steep and no foot path so avoid the cars especially in the dark

The view was fantastic but only if you got the right bedroom floor.

Cleaning service was horrible. Although I usually leave something daily for them, every day something happened, either forgot to leave towels, or water, or empty shower gel recipients not filled, several times we found them barely starting to clean the room by 4-5 pm, etc. One day I specifically remember coming back to the uncleaned room that had the DND sign on the door that we 100% did not put, and it was the sign from our room. After going to the reception they did act on it and at least we got towels. Cleaning service did not seem to have any vacuum that i remember, they seemed to be cleaning with brooms. Also first day we arrived early and could not get a room therefore we left the luggage in the reception lobby and went for the beach. I realised it only late in my last day there that I have never taken my sneakers from the lobby when we did get a room, most probably because they were not there anymore. I am still waiting for an answer from the hotel, after checking the cameras.

Cleaning service aside, it was good value for money. Climbing the hill daily to get to the hotel is rewarded with a very nice view of Kata beach. It is not a 5 star hotel, but the prices also reflect its status.

The fact that we can not enjoy beverages in the pool can be revised - does understand the glass breaking in the pool risk. However, be flexible and only sell in plastic cups. Guest are there to enjoy themselves in the heat and in the pool, to get in and out of the pool is wasted holiday time. We a married couple but got 2 single beds pushed together, was not a great experience for a 8 day stay. Lastly the entertainment was not up to standard for such a great hotel, one man band and DJ - the sound did not work etc... Lastly we were very dissapointed with the New Years eve dinner at your sister hotel, firstly we had to ask for transport which was included in price, secondly the entertainment at the event not up to standard, we left early and had to seek and ask for transport back to Hotel.

The Hotel in General was great, the view excellent. Great staff, especially JOJO - he is a great asset, and I will return because of him and his service. I highly recommend this accommodation. My "what I didn't like" should be seen as constructive criticism.

Going uphill wasn't a pleasure experience. They offer a transfer to the beach, but would be great if they extended the hours (currently is hourly 9am-5pm). Pool area needs a bit of maintenance.

The view was nice, specially the sunset. Wifi is good, easy to connect. Breakfast was also good.
