the location. the pictures are dated, as there is not enough space for the sunbeds to be placed on the beach. the water has a lot of seaweed and stones, so it’s not a good location for swimming. we had to go down a few minutes by the beach to enjoy it. it is also a few minutes away from the restaurants and cafes. all things considered, I would still come back there as it is good value for money and I like exploring different beaches, so I was not too bothered about the location at the end.

Very peaceful hotel and they get the tropical theme right. Rooms are actually better in real-life, with high ceilings, a balcony, good air-conditioning. breakfast was good and with a good variety (you can also order omelettes). staff was friendly. the restaurant by the pool, although it closes at 4:45pm, had very good Thai meals for 200 baht including a drink.

The walk to Chaweng is really nice; clear waters and sugar sand... But it's long. Really long. Exhaustingly long. We also hired a bike through the hotel and the bloke kept repeating "if the tyre goes flat you pay" as if he expected it to happen. So 5 minutes in the tyre went, of course. We walked the bike to a local garage and paid 200 BHT for a replacement. Photos of everything. Upon returning the bike, they weren't willing to listen. Walk down the road and hire a bike from a proper place, not through the hotel! Terrace had a bed, one chair and a big dining table. Felt a bit like they hadn't really thought it through?

The room was big, clean and wonderful. The views were beautiful. The grounds were magical. The staff were delightful. The bathrooms were huge with great showers, double sinks etc. Breakfast is great BUT it costs the same to buy it on the day rather than prepay with your booking, so do that because there are great places to eat all around for much much less. Best night's sleep every single night. It was all flipping brilliant, minus these cons...

Exceptional customer service and such a nice facility. Peaceful as away from busy main road but close enough to walk to. Room was clean and spacious. Grounds cleaned everyday. The food and drink special at pool bar is very worth it.

The room swipe card has your room number on it which seems unnecessary the reviews saying that the beach isn’t clean and there’s no sun lounges etc on the sand are correct. however, you hsve kilometers of stunning beaches just a few minutes walk from the hotel.

Chura is the perfect place to stay if you want a quiet, chilled break. it’s on a quiet stretch of beach, not near any loud bars or clubs and the facilities are great. The beds are big and comfy, the shower is excellent, the staff could not be friendlier

the taxi transfer from airport is too expensive for just less than 10 minutes. they charged us 500THB. and I saw on others comments it was 400THB… it’s a small details but the lightening in the bathroom is really dark also they should add coffees or teas on the menu at the swimming pool’s bars and update the cleaning in the swimming pool during the day but it wasn’t that bad everything else was good :)

room was clean and so big especially the bed and it was so comfy, we slept like babies. the staff is really friendly and helpful. the hotel is near city center (maybe 10-15 minutes walk) and you have a 7-Eleven just across the street. we loved to chill at the swimming pool, it was really nice. you can eat and drink there and the price was cheaper than I thought. we will come back for sure

Stepping out of the hotel to the main street there is not much around. Breakfast was average and not included in room rate. Taxi to the airport at THB400 overpriced for a 10 minute car ride.

We checked in relatively late but were upgraded to a Seaview villa. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Premises are right at Chaweng beach, at the northern end which is more quite. Staff was friendly and helpful.

In the first room we had the mattress was as hard as a rock but after 1 night the hotel staff allowed us to change rooms. The beach is very narrow (the photos showing beach chairs on the beach is not correct - there are beach chairs but they are up near the pool area not on the sand. The beach itself is not the cleanest but it is very standard for most of South East Asia. The hotel was offering a very expensive 350B breakfast per person, so I recommend walking down the beach to the next door restaurants where you can have a delicious breakfast on the beach for a third of the cost.

A nice location that was within walking distance of Chewang Beach and restaurants, but away from all the noise and chaos. Lovely pool area with both shade and sun. Great poolside bar.

Some good coffee or cappuccino poolside would be nice. Now we ordered with Grab or went to a nearby place to get some. Some daily updated information on the water quality of the pool would be appreciated.

Very friendly, warm, helpful staff. We were there for a week and it was nice to see familiar friendly faces every day at breakfast, the pool, and the reception.

There was poor lighting in the bathroom. Although the staff was friendly and smiling, the service was unfortunately not 4 stars. The breakfast team lacked motivation and the food was okay at best. Bacon undercooked, yogurt and juice was warm and overall the staff looked like they had just woken up and didn’t want to be there which was odd as the hotel was quiet during our stay. Overall this hotel has all the potential to be 4 stars but the service is not thereafter and I would rate it more like a 3 star hotel.

The room was very spacious and the bed was super comfortable. Very big balcony with a sofa and a nice big bathroom. It was super quiet at night. The pool was very nice with a shallow area which was great for kids to play at.

Beach immediately in front of hotel is not swimmable. To swim in sea requires a 200 meter walk north to a large sandbar. Unlike all the publicity photos on its website, the hotel no longer has lounges on the beach because of beach erosion. Consequently, there are insufficient lounges around pool when hotel is at capacity

    Rooms are large and comfortable.

There is beach area with any beds as the photos show - instead there is a jet ski company (not associated with the hotel) directly in front of the pool on the beach.

Gorgeous bedrooms with comfy bed & very large outdoor terrace friendly and helpful staff Quiet but close to the main area with bars and restaurants

There could have been more storage room for clothing in my room. I stayed 10 nights and had to put my clothes on the table/sofa.

Swimming pool is the most important asset of this hotel. Magnificent view and perfect to chill & relax. No loud music at the pool, compared to some other hotels in this area. Lunch set menu at the pool for 200 Baht includes a drink and quality is excellent. Rooms are spacious and clean, large bathroom & shower & terrace.

The 'semi-outdoor' bathroom however is a little bit inconvenient sometimes especially after a heavy rain, leading to a wet and slipery floor. In addition, it's not that comfortable to be accompained with a group of mosquitos in the toilet. But on the other hand, it's quite cool to have it just like a seaside hut. So it really depends.

The staff is super friendly and helpful. My wife was not feeling well when we are checking in and they prioritized the room clean so that we could get in earlier. I forgot to ask the name but trust me they are all there to help with patience. The food type for the breakfast is not that much but the I really love the taste.

Unfortunately, the pictures of the resort beach are misleading. The tide was very high when we visited and there was little, if no beach in front of the property. The beach is also dirty, and needed more effort to clean it. The hotel also doesn’t provide evening food, so you have to go elsewhere (there’s plenty of lovely options within walking distance).

The rooms were nice and spacious and the hotel is well situated in a central location. The hotel staff were helpful and there was good scooter rental from hotel. We also enjoyed the hotel gym.
