Unbelievable. This place is an absolute Gem. It was both cozy and stylish, comfortable and elegant. The location is perfect, walking distance to anything in town, and yet still on the outskirts. The staff, especially Yuri, are amazingly helpful and kind and give great tips of where to go, what to do, etc. Our room was enormous compared to many of the other rentals we've been to, and had great touches. The shower and bathroom were perfect and accommodating. The breakfast was the best we've had on our 2 weeks through Europe. They could charge 20 Euro alone just for breakfast, so I definitely recommend getting a room with it included. The spread of food, and display, and the comfortable seating in the garden solarium are unmatched. I would not hesitate to stay here again or recommend this to anyone traveling near Bovec.

Although it is a B&B, we would also like them to provide a good dinner because you will have to travel a while to find a restaurant that suits your stay in Dobra Vila.

Dobra Vila is a beautiful B&B at the top of the Isonzo valley. The rooms are spacious and have no TV (everything is aimed at rest and relaxation). The Slovenian breakfast served is extensive and everything is fresh.

This hotel was phenomenal. From breakfast, to the staff, location and the beautiful gardens this hotel exceeded our expectations. I would highly recommend staying here when you stay in Bovec.

The bed room was not a comfortable place to hang out. The couch/chairs not comfortable, the bedding tired and worn. I happily discovered other places to hang - outside recliners, day bed on third floor, and sauna which had two recliners. I know it is a historical property - but comfort shouldn’t be sacrificed nor should it be cluttered (remove the large rocking horse).

The staff was stupendous! Helped with reservations, special requests and very attentive during breakfast (a lovely dining room!). The breakfast was great - a good value. Good location away from the square. I liked the public spaces of the property - attractive and comfortable.

We arrived with a dog thinking Booking had accepted our dog reservation. The hotel does not want dogs but kindly agreed to accept our's due to the confusion. It cost €30 per night.

Hotel Dobra Vila is a very well presented hotel with a beautiful garden and a lovely terrace but without a restaurant. The manager and receptionist were incredibly friendly and helpful.

Beautiful period architecture set in a fairy-tale land of magical surroundings. The interior also lifts one’s spirits and to a great height! Only very occasionally one finds oneself in an atmosphere where one can really sense that things are at their best. This hotel achieves this through their caring, wonderful hospitality and particularly through their tasteful furnishings and decor. The interior design is made with such attention to detail, to bring an overall feeling of calm and happiness.

Being between seasons not all of the stores in town were open so the choices were down, but still enough places to meet your meal requirements.

Well appointed rooms. The Art Deco stylings of the property were beautifully done. It was a peaceful break between the summer and winter activity periods, and I was very lucky to also have some great weather.

The bathtub in the bathroom is very fancy, but not very practical to use.

The hotel was nice. Really liked the interior and the decoration. The location is perfect, it is close to the city center, but not noisy. The breakfast on the terrace was very good, the coffee was ok.

Internet was attached to the room but was very slow. I found it more efficient to hotspot off my phone. Breakfast did not start until 8.00am which may not suit some people.

Location was fine, in close proximity to restaurants and shops etc. The room was comfortable, with air conditioning and toiletries provided. Breakfast provided was reasonable but it was interesting to note that only one coffee was provided and payment was required for any extra. Staff were friendly, including providing a kettle for use in the room.

The decorations of our room (2001) were a little odd and garish to our liking, but everything else about the room was quite nice. The hotel as a whole was so wonderful that the decorations of this specific room did not bother us as we felt so fortunate to be here!!!

Hotel Dobra Villa is just gorgeous!! It is artistically and creatively decorated in an art deco (plus whimsy) style and has ample comfortable indoor sitting areas. There is plenty of outdoor lounging seating and fabulous views of the mountains. The staff were welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was bountiful and delicious and the setting for breakfast was so lovely, we often prolonged our meal. Thank you Hotel Dobra Villa!!
