Location was easy to find and close to main bus station. 5 minutes walk. And it was close to city center. Walkable score 10. Breakfast was great too. They offered a real cup of coffee every morning.

The yellow lights in the rooms can make the space feel a bit claustrophobic when the days are cloudy and dark, considering the only window is a skylight. Other than that, the main issue was that only a few tables in the cafeteria have salt/pepper shakers, and that the vegetables offered sometimes aren't in the best shape.

It's at a very convenient location, right between the busiest parts of the center and the bus/train station. It's a simple guesthouse, good for having a hub to spend the night in before continuing your trip activities. Despite the location, the immediate area isn't very loud, and every time I've stayed was rather comfortable. Having breakfast included is also quite nice to have, and it's a fairly standard but still pretty varied selection of breakfast foods.

Maybe a shampoo or some better soap for the shower could have been nice, since there was the same one used for hands. However, my skin is delicate so this might no be a problem for others.

The guesthouse looked as though it had seen better days and felt slightly dowdy. We had an adequate but small room with not much space for two chaps and their adventure holiday luggage.

Very good location for bus or train users as the stations were only a few minute's walk away. Also, it was a pleasant walk down to the wonderful riverside area filled with bars and cafes. The guesthouse is run by a helpful and informative family.

There is a need for improvement in the quality of the mattresses and pillows as they are hard and quite uncomfortable, with pillows being lumpy. Unfortunately, the opportunity to experience the tavern was missed as it was closed on Saturday due to it being a national holiday, and it is also closed on Sundays; but we found it closed also on Friday evening! Despite this, promotions for typical Slovenian dinners offered in the tavern with a 10% discount for guests were displayed in the breakfast room and reception. The inconsistency in the tavern's advertisement left a sense of disappointment. While the reception staff was available and attentive in the mornings, their absence during the rest of the day and evenings was noted. I'd suggest that the management consider having staff available throughout the day for better service.

The accommodation offers an excellent selection of English-speaking channels on the TV, catering to a variety of preferences, including those seeking "solace". The cleanliness is impeccable, although there was a slight oversight by the cleaning staff on the final day in setting up the bed for us. The breakfast provided is outstanding, featuring a rich and plentiful spread with delectable homemade desserts. The staff members are exceptionally friendly and accommodating, enhancing the overall experience.

The rooms are quite expensive. They should put an electric kettle and cup for coffee with 3 in 1 coffee in the room, and also a small toothbrush and toothpaste in the bathroom.

The service is excellent, they are kind and very welcoming.
