The setting was beautiful only a stone's throw from the town and yet so peaceful. The owner was helpful, charming and gave us a warm welcome and delicious breakfast.

We stayed for one night, and the next morning we left the key in the room and just went, later were told there is some City Tax fee that we "forgot "to pay in cash. In fact we were never told or aware of the fee needs to be paid in Cash, sent it via Sepa to solve the problem, just might be nicer to tell the guest about this payment ahead, since it's not so common in other EU coutries.

Host is very nice and kind, location is good, very good enviroment around. Our room is on the ground floor, bit cold and dark, I guess it's better to book the rooms on the upper floor.

We're light sleepers and our only issue was with light/acoustic insulation of the room: walls are rather thin (at least in a room we had), so if your neighbours start watching TV at 7 am (ours did) you'll need some earplugs as you'd be able to hear it well. Also, room doors are filled with a white-painted glass and roller blind, so the room gets a bit bright when the corridor light is turned on by someone during the night (there's motion sensor). It's not very intensive, some won't notice, some will be woken up. Also, probably depends on which room you're in.

The owner is just the kind of a person to run a B&B - open, welcoming, friendly and warm. We had quite a lot of contact as she serves at the breakfast and generally just hangs around, we felt really good and taken care of. The apartment was very clean and well equipped with all necessary amenities. The garden (not really a garden, it's actually a huge open area with well-maintained greenery, fruit trees and sunbeds) has amazing mountain panorama view and is great to read a book or chill in. The breakfast was absolutely excellent, with wide selection of local products (diary, bread, meats, yoghurt, jams and jucies from fruit grown on the property) and optional eggs and different warm dishes prepared promptly on-demand by the owner. The surroundings are picturesque and great for walks. You can get to the center of Ptuj in 10-15 minutes walk. I can't also not mention Rex - the dog. He's cuddly and has his own cell phone attached to a collar, used by his owner to call him home if he's wandering :D

The foam mattress and the pillow were too hard for me. The walls are thin, and you can hear what your next-door neighbours say. The room door is mostly glass, and there is a curtain covering it, but the light from the corridor bothered me quite a bit. There are rooms with solid doors, though.

The location of the hotel is good: about 20 minutes walk from the train station and about 10 minutes walk to the old town. The owner is very friendly, and breakfast was decent. The hotel is surrounded by a lovely garden. The room was very basic but OK. I liked the fact that there was a kettle there.

No go without a car, and not a very narrow road going up the hill to the hotel.

Garden like surrounding five minutes frem Ptuj center extremely nice and vivid landlady. You almost belonges to the family.

The location was not as we expected. The property is at the end of a track about 550metres from the main road - and without lighting - so for older people expecting to be able to walk to the town and its restaurants it is not a suitable location. Also we did not like our room. It might suit people who like ‘old fashioned and rustic’ but that’s not for us. The furniture and furnishings were shabby.

Not a lot. It might be a nice place to stay in the summer time but not in the mists of autumn.

The room was not what we expected.

It is nice surrounding, with big garden and flowers. The lady owner and her daughter are very friendly. But 1/2 room at the basement we were in was not worth the many we payed for stay.

Staff were really nice. A little family run business. Youre on an opposing hill oppsitie the castle so views are really great. Decent garden. Had a balcony enough to just stand
