Hotel is outdated when it comes to accommodation style and amenities.. The guest are a huge issue - loud and without manners and management did not do anything to resolve problem with people acting like they are alone and never have visited hotel before.

Hotel is really close to ski slopes and has a private parking space and this is an issue to think about when planning to visit Kranjska Gora

We stayed at the hotel for the New Year holidays 2022-2023. The location is great for skiers as the ski lift is right in front of the hotel. An excellent breakfast, there is everything except delicacies, but everything is very tasty and varied, you definitely won’t stay hungry. I also highly recommend dinners at the hotel - for 16 euros you get absolutely everything you need, you can try and compare with local restaurants, so you always have a choice. The room is medium size, we got a wonderful view of the mountains. The hotel is not new, much needs repair or replacement, but if you do not find fault, it is quite comfortable. Cleaning and change of towels every day. The spa area at the hotel consists of a swimming pool and jacuzzi (free for hotel guests) and a sauna (for an additional fee). The pool is not big and the spa is open from 9 am to 7 pm which is not very convenient. But opposite there is the Ramada Hotel, which belongs to the same chain of hotels as Kompas, and there is an excellent spa with a large pool, which is also free for Kompas guests, and saunas for an additional fee. In addition, the Ramada spa is open from 9 am to 9 pm.

There were no toiletries in the bathroom, except shower gel. We had to pay 5 Euro for the usage of each bathrobe. The swimming pool was full of kids screaming and impossible to use. The spa area is poorly designed and they charge extra 12 Euros per guest. There are two single beds in the room instead of a double bed, also there are 2 small duvets, instead of a double one. The cleaners knocked at the door for cleaning at 8.45 am, a bit early for holidays, even if you go skiing.

The hotel is located in the town center and close to skiing slopes. There was enough available parking. The hotel room is spacious with a balcony. The bed is very comfortable. Self-service breakfast has lots of choices for everyone. There is a ski and ski boots storage in the basement, but you need to pay 10Euros for the key, which is returned at the end.

Shower head was old and spraying water everywhere. Mould on the ceiling of the bathroom. Balcony door handle was loose, screws untightened. The walls were rough, like the paint had chipped off. Light on the balcony didn't work. Dinner does not include anything to drink, not even a glass of water eventhough juices are available at breakfast. Desserts could be better.

Breakfast was good, nice Christmas decorations and fire place in the lobby, pool with a jacuzzi is located within the hotel, friendly staff. Big parking space.

Unfortunately beds are extremally soft. In the bathroom we got towel covered with someone's hair... (but cleaning lady exchanged it right away). The hotel seems to need a little bit of renovation and modernization (the toilet paper holder fell off, the ceiling was crumbling a little as well). Reception was mostly friendly, but failed to explain what we are entitled to in the hotel without us specifically asking and even then they seemed annoyed that we asked a question (we had summer refreshment package).

The hotel is nearby city center, close to all the attractions and nice mountain view from the balcony. The pool is small, but clean and cozy (as long as there is not too many people at once). The selection of food for the breakfast is varied, it is probably the most value for your money you can get in the hotel, really tasty.

The wellness opens at 9am and closes early at 7pm. In the morning it was empty, but in the evening when we arrived for hiking wanted to go to the pool but that was closed early. Should be open at least 9pm Another week spot that had to pay 5 euros for bathmantel. I would expect it free in a 4 star wellness hotel.

Good location, many famous sights are nearby. Italy and Austria also close. The breakfast is amazing 😊😍

The hotel is a bit outdated so are the rooms with some strange smell. Personally I would really appreciate if the reception could provide more information either about the hotel facilities or the surrounding area.

Breakfast was nice with very good selection. The room had comfortable bed with nice pillows. Location was just superb.

Nothing - everything was great.

Had a very relaxing stay at the Hotel Kompas. The rooms were spacious, the beds were comfortable, the washroom spacious and clean and the views were spectacular. The swimming pool and Jacuzzi were very welcoming. The breakfast had numerous choices and was well spaced out. All in all a very positive experience.

Despite the fact that I did not use the balcony much, I was disturbed by the very poorly maintained balcony railing. If you're not careful, you can get a thorn in your hand very quickly. Unfortunately rather bad wi-fi in the room. But it was working at the reception.

Hotel has a great location in quiet area. Big parking and in summer lots of natural shade. Great, delicious and varied breakfast. The room was big, the view from the bed was great, directly on the mountains. Perfect pillows. And it was realy clean. The staff was excellent. We had some inconveniences that were resolved as soon as we told them about the problems. Swimming pool was great. Maybe a bit small, but I like it. There are some toys and few swimming accessories for children (foam tube, swimfin). There was no water slide, but we didn´t miss it.
