The mail entrance for apartment runs through the bathroom and toilet. The private terrace is also a walk by (hallway) for the apartment upstairs.

Charming property in a great location. The room was stunning and spacious with a balcony overlooking the garden. Marie is a great host and very accommodating. Lots of local knowledge and always happy to help. It was my partners birthday during our stay and Marie arranged a little surprise. If you want a more personal and friendly stay then this is perfect. Will hopefully get to stay again in the future.

We were confused by the room photos and descriptions on Booking, and mistakenly thought the room was an apartment, with separate sitting room, which we prefer as we have two different sleep schedules. Marie more than made up for our confusion, by offering us a second room as well at minimal cost!!!

We were happy to stay in Kobarid in a facility with a hostess on site whom we could visit with in the B&B manner. The public spaces, plus our balcony, allowed us flexible use of our lodging. We needed refrigerator space, a hot pot, and a microwave, and had access to all. We will be happy to recommend Hemingway House to other travelers.

We chose the most economic room which is close to the front door and faces a road which is not very busy but still has some traffic. We could hear other guests coming in and the spare traffic during the night.

The staff was very helpful and take care of us including information about area. The apartment is in the center of Kobarid, so you have all what you need around you (restaurants, supermarket, bakery - and all tourist agencies for adventures). Be aware, some noise from traffic could be heard as the apartment is located on the main street.

It's an apartment for 5 people, which works great. But if you book it for 4 people it will be much more comfortable.

Apartment is located in a central place in Kobarid. Our room was just as described; cozy with large bed, cute furnishings and equipped with everything you need. Marie is very nice host, always smiling and available and there is not a problem if you need anything. You can hike/cycle directly from the property. Free parking is about 2 minutes from the house. We highly recommend Marie’s fantastic breakfast in the garden!!

Great location, with a friendly host who was easy to communicate with. We brought a pet, and it was very manageable. The apartment was much more spacious apartment than anticipated, and would absolutely return for another stay.

Marie was very kind and helpful. She recommended us to visit some beautiful place and good restaurant. The room was big, and very beautiful, well equipped. The apartment is close to the city centre, it has no parking place, but Marie give us some tips, so it's not a problem. Thanks for everything! If we visit Kobarid again, we know where to sleep :)

Maybe kitchen could be better equipped, but no big deal. For essential cooking it was enough.

Kobarid is beautiful town with strategic position for exploring north-west part of Slovenia. If weather go wrong, you always can run away to Italy for a while :-) Aparment was clean, with comfortable bed. Marie and her friend was very friendly and helpful. I hope, we'll se them again.
