We paid extra for the breakfast but it wasn’t anything special.

The castle and its surrounding are beautiful. The room was quiet and comfortable and had a nice view. The staff were friendly.

The breakfast was a complete letdown. The offerings were disappointing, with low-quality supermarket brands and no proper scrambled eggs, just a sad half-omelet. In a 4-star hotel, they should serve proper coffee individually, not a poor quality substandard one from an ugly coffee machine that spoils the whole castle restaurant feeling. The staff member at breakfast seemed grumpy, which added to our overall disappointment.

We stayed at Mokrice Castle Estate for one night and were impressed by the grandeur of the estate and the spaciousness of our room. The reception staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, both in person and through the Booking.com app, making our check-in process smooth and welcoming even when checking in after midnight. A beautiful estate with great potential, but the breakfast experience needs significant improvement.

The only inconvenience is that on Monday the restaurant is closed and you must drive in the area up and down the highway to find a place to dinner.

It is a nice castle, and it is very convenient when you travel from west to east or vice versa. It is a quiet and beautiful location with friendly staff. Excellent value for money.

While our stay it was just a few people and breakfast was a bit modest, but still we were able to find everything we needed and we truly enjoyed the restaurant itself! It was a breakfast in a castle :)

Hotel itself, hotel territory, it is real historical place. We lived in a great & comfortable family room, personnel was friendly and ready to help with any requests. There is wonderful atmosphere around. The restaurant is superb! I really recommend to visit this place!

We stayed in hotel Terme, instead of Castle Mokrice, which was totaly ok. The maids were very aggressive, entering the room at 8am and several times more before 11. Toilletres were poor, not enough shower gel and shampoo for 1 person. We had to use our own. Prices are almost like imn Kempinski, but several times lower value for money.

The estate is primarily a place for golf lovers. It is immersed in the nature and very quiet. The rooms are spacious and clean. The parking is included in the price.

It is good for guests to know that the restaurant is not open in the evening! At 30 cm. a thick pillow can not sleep!

Nothing to complain on.

We used the accommodation as an overnight stay on our way. The hotel is close to the highway, in a beautiful forest environment. The guests are mostly golfers, but it served us well. Peace and quiet are the main features of this accommodation. The site itself (the old castle) was not open. The room we used is big enough (it's on two levels). Bathroom big enough, clean, bed and bedding comfortable. Breakfast is quite ok. The reception is the desk in the club (golf) where golf equipment is also sold. All in all, ok accommodation in an ok location. Good value for money.

The annex building apartments are missing AC, Kettle, but generally speaking apartments are super new and very clean. Breakfast is ok if you are keen on two types eggs, delicious bacon and some cheese.

I had an idea of staying in the castle, my mistake I did saw they sold us annex building. The whole complex is kind of in the middle of renovation. It will be beautiful once it’s finished.

I'd consider staying in the future but I would make sure they 100% not hosting a wedding during my stay. There is no AC inside the apartment, so with open windows noise gets a bit too much.

Breakfast could be better. Perhaps eggs or something freshly cooked could enrich the breakfast experience.

We spent one night in the castle on our way to Austria- next time we will make sure to enjoy this amazing place for longer. The room was spacious, the bed very comfortable. We had everything we needed, and the staff is simply amazing, very kind and professional attitude.

The outside area is green and specious, but... The restaurant was closed at 7pm. The room was full of mosquitos when we arrived. There were no nets on the windows. The whole family had insect bites in the morning.

Place itself is amazing. We loved it. Our room was at the side building (it could be stables long time ago). Once you enter it, you see nice spiral stairs. Room itself was very comfortable. We had it with breakfast which was good and filling 😊. We loved everything about it. Plus, it is very close to termals.

Insect nest on the windows can be a good addition.

Great location close to the highway, but yet quiet. The room was clean, nice and with a view to the woods staff was very helpful. Plenty of private parking spaces are available. Breakfast was good. You can have a walk around the castle.
