Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomThe entire hotel was a little smaller than I expected but it makes sense due to the context of the location. Maybe if you required a bigger room you would choose somewhere else.
The welcome by the concierge when I arrived and left was perfect and gave me a boost of energy to explore the city. The bed was super comfortable and gave an excellent night's sleep. Delicious breakfast and great coffee.

They were so friendly on our arrival, helped book us a restaurant for the evening and gave us some fizz to celebrate my birthday! They went above and beyond and I would recommend to everyone! The breakfast was delicious too!

NetherlandsThe shower makes absolutely no sense: it is just a hand wand that can't be attached at a high position. Which means that you either have a spray of water a bit above waist level or that you always need to hold the tiny showerhead in your hands. I thought it was bad but for my girlfriend to wash her hair it was even worse since it was impossible for her to use both hands. To make matters worse the shower cabin has no doors (which is not always a problem), leading to the whole bathroom flooding - which clearly was not just our issue since you could already see the damage the water caused to the bottom of the door right in front.
The staff is super welcoming and gave us suggestions, booked our taxi and was overall very friendly. The location is very central and the property seems recently renovated, the whole space looks good and is very comfortable.
