Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomBeds and pillows were covered in plastic which was odd. You’re also not Told that you’re on the third floor and above a kick boxing club and working men’s hostel. As a solo female traveler, I wouldn’t have booked if I knew I had to go Past these… and a bit of an odd vibe. I think some people were pretty Much living there or something.

NetherlandsWe had a relatively small room that had no windows, which came as a surprise because these were the most expensive beds to reserve. We booked the room with 6 beds. Also, air conditioning is only on from 9 in the evening until 9 in the morning.
Overall a good cleanliness and very friendly staff. The common area is spacious and there is a good frigde and a good microwave to use. Fresh water is available.

United KingdomThink the value for money isn't very good, really small room without window. Also, top bunks don't have any curtains, so there is no privacy and also no protection from lights going on and off. Also, it might just be unlucky that the night I stayed, there was quite a lot of noise, with it being so small and nothing soundproof, really didn't get much sleep at all.
