Security deposit was taken on a separate card and after paying in full, the deposit was not released. Upon querying this I was advised that it may take 1 to 2 weeks!

Everything is fine except for the bathroom sink was a bit clogged and a space for the bathing condition to improve.

Beautiful historic site and estate! Rooms are spacious and come with a balcony. Breakfast is good with many options. Swimming pools are fantastic and there are two! The staff are very helpful and friendly who even helped me pick up my deliveries right before I checked in!

I seem to recall that food was only available at very limited times and there is no bar for ad hoc drinks or snacks. I found the Reception staff non-receptive when I moaned about this - after having come in mid-PM very hot and dehydrated from going anywhere in Singapore at the time of our stay. As we are a gay couple in our 60s and not sure how it would be with a double bed, I asked for a twin room late into our booking: it was really quite drab, with wonky lamps, light bulbs out and curtains hanging loose in places. We couldn't use the pool area, despite it being pretty (there are 2) as it was too hot - not the hotel's fault of course! :)

Very elegant "ex Colonial style" hotel - low level, nestled in the middle of tower blocks and hustle / bustle. As quiet as it can get in Singapore, I think. Good breakfast - nothing is cheap there. We had a fantastic dinner in the hotel's grill / steak restaurant: very pricey, but some of the best steak and red wine we've ever had.

Other parts of the property didn’t seemed very well maintained. The area surrounding the Mayfair pool looked dilapidated. Also, they wished me Happy Birthday at the reception counter as it was my actual birthday but no other perks (like cake,etc) was given.

Room we stayed in was spacious and comfortable. I think the Lobby Wing was renovated recently.

It was not really clear to us when we booked that our room was located in the "Parklane" annex in back instead of the main hotel building...

Grand old heritage hotel surrounded by trees and gardens, located right in the heart of Orchard & Scotts roads, with comfortable rooms and 2 swimming pools! Good restaurants and food too.

All restaurants expensive and popular with locals or non residents. Quality was high. Book early or you’ll be disappointed. Bar closes at 9:45! You can get drinks but need to ask at reception, bar staff got quite rude when we asked them. Service wasn’t always prompt and you had to go looking for staff

The location is great, the staff very warm and friendly, the rooms spacious and well appointed, room service is superior. It would be good to have more television offerings, but otherwise this is a terrific hotel and one of the best in Singapore.

Goodwood Park Hotel is in an excellent location. Staff are courteous, professional and helpful. The room was beautifully quiet and spacious and the facilities were lovely. Outdoor pools are good and room service is prompt. I have enjoyed the high tea here on a previous occasion.

Great hotel as always. First stayed here in 1978, and the hotel offers space and experience unmatched in singapore at this pricepoint. History, and great staff. Massive rooms.
