Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

GermanyThe key for the patio did not work. I was locked out. Luckily I gad my mobile phone but couldn‘t reach anyone, not the operator, reception or reservation. After sending an e-mail to the concierge finally someone came after 30 min. Reason for the lock- out. Empty batteries. This could have been checked before.

United KingdomLuxury hotel, couldn’t be any better! The team here made our first trip to Singapore very special. The rooms are faultless, the bed was made up neatly and so comfortable. The bathroom featured lots of facilities and the shower had good temperatures and pressure. Our view of the pool also very nice! Buffet breakfast was a nice end to our stay too

Love the peaceful environment, tucked away from the city buzz. Room is clean and furnishings well-maintained. The wide breakfast spread at the Greenhouse is of exceptional quality. The greenery around the restaurant makes the ambience of the place totally relaxing and welcoming.

New ZealandSingapore was just a layover rather than a destination. The hotel was opulent but very boring for us. Its a golf resort and there's really nothing else to do there unless you want to paddle around in a shallow pool or drink at the bar, which evidently is what golfers, business folk and journalists like to do. Yawn.
It's very luxurious and expensive, caters to wealthy American taste. You can't fault the hospitality or the luxury, and if that's what you're after, it's flawless.

I like that it is situated away from the city and its calm and quiet. It's relaxing and not many high surrounding buildings. I picked this many for the location near the airport and away from crowds.

We love the location and restaurant. The room was very clean and comfortable. Staff were helpful.

FranceThe airport shuttle is only available 6 times per day - during the day. If you flight arrives after 1830 or departs before 10am then you'll have to order a taxi. I felt this was a misleading advertisement of a shuttle service. Most other hotels offer a pickup and drop off shuttle service on demand. My room overlooked the front of the hotel - towards to construction across the road - the incredibly bright lights from the construction site were on all night and the curtains in the room were not sufficient to block out the light.
A good location close to the airport. Nice shuttle transfer into Singapore - although not very frequent. Very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was generally good.
