It is slightly outside city center. OK for me as I was taking grab. I think it is slightly short staffed. We had an issue with blind of the window. We asked for help, staff initially said that they will come but didnt turn up and didnt pick call either. Overall assets need to improve as they are getting older..blind, one of the lights just fell.

The property provides good value for money keeping singapore in mind. It was a quick checkin and a quick checkout.

The hotel sits right above a karaoke/club. Sound proof wasn't great so I struggled to fall asleep at night.

The first time I got smelled like smoke. They happily changed the room when I gave this feedback. Location is pretty good.

Lavender station is a bit far if you travel with suitcase. We took a taxi to/from airport because we didn’t want to drag the suitcase outside in the heat to the station.

Overall very good experience. Bed and pillow were comfortable. It was quiet to stay in the room; I didn’t hear any noice through the walls or outside (not sure though if anyone stayed in the room next to us). Toilet was clean. Cleaning staff were great. There was a mini fridge in the room. Wifi worked well. Nice pool area on top of the building. Staff at the reception was friendly.

The location is not so close to MRT . There is not cupboard in the room to keep your clothes which I felt very annoying.

The room was very clean. The bed was comfy .room was cleaned daily ,also towels and bed sheet were changed daily.

There was an accidental spill of curry in the carpet which we informed the hotel immediately and they sent staff to clean it up. However, they charged 240 SGD for this and I had to pay immediately without having the chance to think or negotiate the billing. The bill receipt states the charge is for cleaning + replacing the carpet if required however carpet did not require any replacement as it was already cleaned properly. But as I was made to pay up immediately I didn’t have that headspace to ask if this charge should leave out the replacement costs. Very frustrating and incredibly stressful to incur such a high cost for a cleaning by internal hotel staff. That’s on top of already expensive room charge paid. Singapore is just super expensive but I wasn’t expecting the charges to include probable future replacement charges. Kinda unfair on the guests. TV wasn’t connecting to mobile phones. Body lotion isn’t provided with the toiletries. Room isn’t dusted properly and you can see the dust collected on the furniture. Shower area door does not close properly and hence water can flow out if not careful enough. Shower head is too heavy for the holder and falls down unless pushed behind the water pipe.

The rooms were nearly designed. Wrought iron furniture and simple bedding were definitely the highlights of this room. The entrance and lobby is very convenient and beautifully decorated. But on that note I would request to add some artwork inside the rooms to give it some personality.

I got a window view but really not much of a view as facing towards buildings at close proximity. Downside is that it faces towards the Singapore Casket which can be a little uncomfortable. But in the end, curtains are drawn up mostly. So I think with no windows unit may be ok Can hear people walking along the corridor. Had some kids shouting and screaming along the corridor but lasted around 10mins.

Stayed at Hamilton Block. I think Tyrwhitt Block seems to be the newer block. Rooms are clean and bed is comfortable. Overall, the room is simple but clean and well kept. Bathroom is food and functional. Hot water available almost immediately and the water pressure is strong. Only small issue was that the door of the bathroom cannot fully closed so water can leak out easily and wet the floors outside. Allowed parking which is also a good feature since I was driving.

Hotel is nice and clean staff are friendly. There's lots of cafes and eateries around the hotel. I like that the hotel does not have too many people loitering and sleeping at the reception areas, like some others hotel nearby which I stayed before. Lavender MRT station is about 9 mins away and there's a NTUC supermarket nearby too.

The whole place felt very clean and well looked after. As value for money goes I thought it was a really great hotel and was very satisfied. The pool was fantastic. The staff were really helpful and accommodating and went out of their way at every interaction.

We had the standard room and it didn’t have any windows. Not a huge issue for us but something to keep in mind.
