The hotel needs to provide additional washing machine. At present only 1 washing machine and 1 dryer. (Located at level 3 same as the swimming pool)

The hotel does not include breakfast. However restaurant that served Halal Food is just next the hotel. It serves varieties of food n reasonable price. Hawker centre is about few metres away. Restaurants are just around. Transportation wise also very easy. Be it by bus or MRT( neet to walk abt 10mins) Malls are in walking distance.

Toilets were kinda old, but tbh not like dirty, just old looking. The shower head needs to be changed. I'm pretty tall so I need to either sit down or bend down, which is a great workout but I think adding a shower head you can move around your body would be of great help.

The bed was comfy and the room space was spacious and not stuffy at all. Location wise, very near to convenience stores and restaurants. Easy to access the MRT or Bus with maybe a 5-10 minute walk. All in all, I enjoyed my stay here with my GF :)

Not our favourite hotel. We had to ask for a room change as the first one had black mould all around the air conditioner and it smelled. The second room was a bit better. I’m not sure there was anything we liked- maybe that it was close to the shops.

Some of the staffs were little rude. It is a bit far from the city centre.

Pool was good, location fine, reasonably Close to MRT and LRT. Great foodcourts nearby, one directly below. 7-11 and ATM directly below which was very handy…..

We had a folding bed instead of a triple room. After 4 days my son complained of the springs poking in his back. The aircon was leaking. After complaining, we got another proper room, since we were staying there for 11 days. We would have appreciated if Tristar hotel would gave us a good room since we booked way in advance for 11 days :-(

nothing to speak of, apart from one of the lifts had a very fast closing door that shut very fast, twice catching my wife's shoulder. Might be worth contacting the lift provider to get this checked

Fixtures like lamps were dusty. Our aircon leaked for our entire 2 week stay so we constantly had to have a towel on the floor; someone came to “fix it” but literally took the cover off, wiped it down and put it back on again. Their washer and dryer wasn’t working so had to pay crazy amounts for dry cleaning, however, there is a laundromat next door. Some of the staff were lovely and friendly, others were not. Surprised that a member of staff saw me carrying multiple bags and didn’t offer to help when I was clearly struggling.

The room size was really great. Location is very central. Just a short walk to east coast road and Joo Chiat. A number of bus stops and malls within a few minutes walk. The gentleman who cleaned our room everyday was so sweet and friendly.

The pool wasn't deep enough. There was a 'no smoking' sign just outside the change rooms, but there was an ashtray near the tables so people were allowed to smoke. It was a bit of a conflict of the sign.

Loved the location. Staff were always helpful and polite. It has convenient eating places nearby. Closed to public transport. Good connecting paths for bicycles. Hotel allowed us to bring bicycles into our room.

improvement of the room.the curtain (toilet,room) had been replaced already(dunno the other rooms coz last time we staying the curtain was torn) also they change the hand-held bidet😍 and the rainfall shower head.

I didn't like Wifi, not steady need to change for 5G sometimes. The air conditioner is not really cool, but it is still fine. Acutally the things that I didn't like it is in my expectation.

All are meet expectations and standard for this hotel catergory. Clean as it shoud be. Comfort as it shoud be. Staff are great.

Some parts are a little tired but overall fine.

Location was good, lots of eateries and a market close by. Facilities are somewhat basic but had everything we needed.

This is a 2 star hotel so don't expect a nice view. Found debris of sand in the pool and the pool toilets look clean but urinal stench still lingers like those at our hdb coffee shops. Should consider getting at least 1 more washing machine/dryers for guests' self laundry facility. They only have 1 though it was cheap. Now the grand finale.. what really drove me to write this review; which i normally am too lazy to do, its The Room Service was POOR! Upon checking in, we requested extra pillows and batteries as we found that the tv remote had no batteries. We called the front desk from our room and was told that it will be done. But waited half an hour and still no one came. I went down to grab some food and made another request to the front desk lady. Went up, waited another half hour before my daughter made another call to their front desk and was hanged up halfway. The hotel staff finally appeared 15 mins after my daughter was hanged up in the middle of a conversation, with our requested items. I understand this is a 2 star hotel but customer service must not be 2 stars right?

Despite being a 2 star hotel, the conditions of the internal surroundings were well maintained. Clean and comfortable room, and smells fresh. Also have a bathtub, which other 3/4 stars hotels don't even have.

Location of our room in a corner made it smaller than others Air conditioner was directly above my bed so was not evenly distributing to the second bed Pool did not have a deep end so swimming was straneous
