Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

FinlandSomething in the room was making a rather loud humming noise non-stop all throughout the night, making it very hard to sleep. I think it had to do with the air conditioning of the bathroom. In any case one could not turn it off. The reception was closed at night so I could not go speak with hotel staff to try and solve the problem. I would have had to go to another hotel to get hold of staff, maybe a sister hotel of Börsen?, but since it was midnight and I was very tired, I was too tired to dress up again and go out. I was very disturbed with the loud noise and in the end I had to press a pillow on my ears in attempt to reduce the noise. The noise completely ruined my night. In the morning I went down to the reception and informed the staff about the noise. I told them I could not sleep and the sound was extremely disturbing. There were two receptionists, and both seemed quite indifferent to my complaint. They almost looked as if they would not believe there could be such a sound in the room. The only reply was, "Oh, we are so sorry". They did not offer any compensation. I found that a very bad and arrogant attitude towards a guest. If a guest is telling you about a significant disturbance that ruined the whole night, you definitely should try to compensate the disturbance in some way. But no, these receptionists were like, "Oh, thanks for letting us know, we'll send someone to check the room". Someone checking the room and fixing the problem _afterwards_ will not compensate for the loss of sleep for your guest. Please learn ways to make your guest feel respected and that you take a justified complaint seriously.

SwedenOne of us found the ventilation noisy, the other one of us liked hearing the hum.
The location was central yet very quiet. The rooms were decorated with great care and authenticity. We liked the carefully chosen books in the room and common areas, the very good reading lamps, the comfortable and sturdy beds. There was good variety at breakfast. Tea and coffee and tasty biscuits were always available. Thank you to the lovely staff.

KosovoWe were very disappointed, this is not worth the price, especially when it comes to cleanliness. We booked a double bed room, but got three single beds. When we double-checked the booking, it had a double bed in the pic, but when you “read more” it mentions four single beds, which is almost never the case with suites, so be careful with that. On our last night, they moved us to a supposed double bed room, but it was two single beds that didn't stay together. Cleanliness was poor, with yellow shower curtains, dirt in the bathroom, and dust elsewhere (the oven was in a miserable condition and it was difficult to see through the windows). Quite unflexible receptionist. At checkout, we were told to pick up our luggage by 16:00 as they would close and change the code, offering no help despite our ferry leaving at 22:00.
The location is superb, the breakfast was nice but not special, apart from the pancakes, which were the best I had in Sweden. The atmosphere in the breakfast/dining room is very cozy. It was nice they have a fridge (with freezer) in the rooms, so we could store our drinks there and have picnics outside.

SwedenThe foot of the bed went off during the first night and the janitor should have taken care of it the next day but he didn't. Then we had to sleep in another room for a night and move back the next day. The room cleaning never came for three days until we specifically asked for it on the 4th day. They didn't give us the right amount of towels after cleaning and there was not enough toilet paper to hold until the end of the stay. The beds are not kept together upstairs and it makes it hard to reach your partner for a hug without falling between beds.
Great location in the centre of the old town. The employees were nice. The breakfast was fine but not changing regularly enough or not large enough for 6 mornings. Croissants were good. Several problems happened in our room but we got compensated for the trouble upon request at the end of the stay.
