Rooms are dark so putting in makeup is a bit tricky. However, they do have a mango motor so that’s a plus. Our first room the AC went out in the middle of the night. They offered to move us in the middle of the night. However, we have them a chance to fix it first while we went out for the day. Came back and still wasn’t done so they moved us into a bigger room. I appreciated the communication and the remedy.

i would have liked more drawers in the room. i ate on the first night and it was an excellent meal but could not do so after that. maybe some tables could be saved for residents?

Spacious room. the staff were willing to help book activities etc, recommend restaurants etc. It was quiet. it was lovely to have fresh coffee and tea available in the corridor. Interesting decor.

The wardrobe was really tiny, which is a problem when you travel for a long time and to different places.

I love the atmosphere of this hotel decorated with antiques, so that each room has its own character and specificity. On top of that, breakfast is delicious.

The location was excellent. The hotel decor was very interesting. The staff were friendly and very helpful. There was plenty of choice for breakfast. The outside restaurant was lovely with delicious food.

Perfect location in Old Town if you’re traveling without a car. Next to shops, restaurants and cafes. Wonderful breakfast inside a historical hotel. Loved the decor and the welcoming vibe. Two glasses was provided with port and tasty chocolate to go with. Would definitely stay there again.

Hotel itself almost like a museum. Couple who own this hotel had many collections all around the world related to navy yachts and boats . Staff was also cheerful and helpful. Breakfast was rich and full of varieties. Location is in the heart of the old town. I definitely recommend this hotel.

Room was not the biggest one, yet big enough to have a desk, couch, a small table and a wardrobe. Bathroom was fantastic; aparently recently and very professionally renovated. Breakfast was quite rich, with vegetarian and gluten free varieties.

Exceptional service the entire time I was there. The breakfast was superb, so much attention to detail and such an array of gourmet food. Easily the best breakfast I’ve ever had! The decor throughout the hotel must have taken decades to piece together. It’s a real treasure trove of nautical wonders.

Everything was great

Great location next door to Gamla Stan metro station and close to Palace, the city hall and the Central Station. Lovely naval-themed decoration and very warming staff. Although I is in the borders of the old city, it’s very quiet. The breakfast was also full of options.

There was noise from the restaurant below, and also from an air conditioning unit or similar out side the room. The window only opened a few inches and it was not possible to get enough fresh air. The room was small and there wasn't much room to put things. No tea was available in the restaurant after dinner, which was rather strange, as it was available in the hotel!

I liked the decoration and the collection of maritime antiques. The location in the old town was great and very convenient. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent, and the restaurant was very good. I liked the tea-making facilities outside in the corridor.
