Breakfast terrific and staff there friendly and welcoming. Check in staff good too. The room only had a double bed - really should have been a queen as the room was large enough for that.

While the bed itself was OK, the pillows did not provide much in the way of support. Only one window could be open (just a little bit). As they have limited space for breakfast, you have to book your breakfast time and plan ahead. Not a big problem, but it can be impractical sometimes.

Location is excellent, with almost everything important nearby. Bus station is a few minutes of walk away. Hotel is very well organized, staff was very friendly and helpful, they arranged a breakfast boxes for us as we had to check-out before the breakfast. Breakfast was good, great quality and a nice selection. Bit repetitive, though. Room was clean and spacious. Along all the usual stuff, paper towels and pop-up tissues are also provided in the room, which is very useful and every hotel should do that.

When you know that the sun shines really early during 4 months of the year you should invest in curtains that block the light for all the beds in a room not just half of them.

No major surprises. According to expectations. Swift check in despite late arrival. Stayed only for a night during a long road trip.

Nice place, close to the center, tasty breakfast, good and helpfull service. Clean, a lot of space in room, you can park your car at the garage. There is everything what you need to enjoy Malmö.

The only problem was a very noisy bin lorry early each morning, but that can't be helped!

We loved our stay at the Scandic Malmö City. Once we managed to find it (at 1am after a late flight, and in hurricane force sleet!) we were helped by the man on reception who made sure we had a few snacks and also helped us with the lift. For the whole stay, all the staff were exceptional, and the staff in the breakfast room did a brilliant job keeping everyone fed. The location was perfect, right in the centre close to both train stations and next to lovely shopping streets and the old town. The room itself was great for me and my children, and we had everything we needed. We also made use of the gym each evening which was nice and quiet. I would recommend the hotel for a family stay, especially seeing all the families in the breakfast room on a morning, others had the same view. I would definitely come back if I was lucky enough to visit Malmö again one day.

We had a room with a small kitchen. It would have been great if some tea and coffee were provided. The sofa bed was quite springy and uncomfortable.

The location was great and the room was a good size for a family of four. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide range of food including porridge, pancakes and fresh smoothies as well as all the usual things you'd expect. The staff were very friendly.

There was a bit of a disturbance from traffic.

A minor issue with the room was dealt with efficiently. The breakfasts are generous and delicious. The location ideal for my needs. I intend to return.
