To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomRooms are very compact, we just about managed to lay two medium suitcases flat after rearranging some room furniture, however it was okay for our stay. This is a large hotel and the breakfast area can get very crowded at peak times.
Room was tastefully decorated, beds very comfortable and hot water available when we needed it. There is a kettle in the room but tea and coffee are not resupplied without asking. Good selection of food replenished quickly at breakfast. Good central location for tourist sites.

United KingdomThere is little not to like. One minus point is that there was a short flight of stairs between the lift and the room. Otherwise, all good.
A modern and clean hotel, not far from the station and right on the shopping streets. Decent room size for a single, and a good bathroom with an excellent shower. The hotel kindly provided me with an extra early breakfast because I had to catch a very early train.

CanadaI found it very difficult to find the hotel from the commuter train when I arrived. If you are staying at this hotel, please make sure you have a good map of the area as it is very confusing at first (roads on different levels and the local, commuter and out of town stations all being connected makes things even more confusing). Once I did find the hotel though, it was in an great location so I wouldn't change the location, just make sure you know which exit to use in the station when you arrive!
I enjoyed my stay at Scandic Klara. It was clean, bright and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and you needed your room card to go from floor to floor in the elevator so it felt very secure. The breakfast was buffet style and had so many options that there is something for everyone (even a lot of options for dietary restrictions) and the food for very tasty - great way to start your day of sightseeing. The room had a window (which when I was looking in the area, not all hotels have rooms with windows) so that was nice. My window did face the courtyard, and while I did hear a little sound during the dinner hour, it did not go late into the night and it was not loud (a little bit of clinking sounds) so this was non-issue for me personally. The TV had a number of English channels available to watch. The location (once I found the hotel the first time) was great. Within walking distance to the various public ferry terminals, Stockholm Central stations, the old town, shopping streets and some museums. This was my first stay at a Scandic hotel and I would definitely stay at a hotel in this chain again.
