We perhaps would book two bedrooms next time. Typically the adults had the sofa beds while the teens had the luxury of the lovely bedroom. This is not a fault of the property though.

We loved the warm welcome, the space, the large windows, the quiet location, opening the door to beautiful cobbled streets, the interesting building, the thoughtful decor.

No elevator, but that’s just because we had two kids under 3yrs and it was challenging.

The location, the apartment itself was beautiful and very well equipped. Comfortable beds and very helpful to have a washer/dryer in unit. Also provided shampoo, conditioner, and lotion which was a nice touch.

Beautiful and large property in the old town. Well appointed. Hosts were very communicative. Arrived close to 9pm but were warmly welcomed and given a tour of the two bedroom apartment named Regal. Very close to many eating options as well as coop. Quiet in evenings.

It was a wow when we walked in! So much space and really comfortable and pretty. Was great for my toddler to run round and round! The location was so convenient as well we could walk to all the tourist spots easily and had shops and restaurants 5 mins from the door which when travelling with a 1 year old is very very helpful!

Perfect spot in a quiet Old Town street. Within walking distance of major tourist attractions. Everything that you may need in such an apartment was there (washing machine, dishwasher, iron, hair dryer, all kitchen utensils, glassware, tv with chromecast, fast wifi and so on). Comfortable beds.

The apartment was beautiful and spacious, we were shocked upon arriving. The location directly in the middle of Gamla Stan was ideal with access to everything in 5 minutes walk. Laundry was an amazing amenity as well as the full kitchen. On top of everything, the staff who greeted us was amazing. We arrived as early as possible to store luggage after landing at 7am, and she was there and so kind to allow us rest in the office and even made sure our room was readied early so that we were able to settle in and relax.

It was a good experience and I would stay again, no question. But a few things to be aware of: the residence is not staffed full-time, which is ok, but can make communication a bit more challenging. We were in two different apartments, The Regal and Elegance over four nights. One had very hard beds, the other had very soft beds--a bit of a Goldilocks situation! We were given one bath towel per person, one hand towel and a bathmat. No washcloths. The washing machine in the first unit didn't work and the dishwasher in the second unit was in need of TLC.

Very nice old building with private apartments. Great location. If you are looking for a nice, atmospheric and spacious home base in Stockholm, don't hesitate. The location in old town is wonderful, near everything but on a quiet street. The building had lots of character and walking out the door to the charming cobblestone streets during the long summer days was a treat. I can imagine it is also very charming in the winter. Nice kitchen set up if you want to eat in with a basic coffee/tea set.

Please provide more pillows, one per person doesn’t allow for reading in bed. One of our group thought the beds in the twin room (smaller room) were too soft. The bed in the larger room was good. Seems to be a thing in Sweden that rooms don’t have privacy / opaque blinds so you have to close the curtains and put the lights on to avoid being seen. Here there were blinds but they were blackout blinds so similar issue. This did not detract from our stay in any way.

Location was perfect for us. Quiet. Spacious. Well-appointed.

I loved the fact that the building was from the 1600’s and had a vintage fireplace. It was large and perfectly sized for a small family. It was well equipped with a full kitchen and washer/dryer.

There is a 1" rise in the wooden board between the living room and bedroom that needs to be replaced with a board cut at an angle since both of us stubbed our toes multiple times.

The hostess, Matilda was wonderful - helping to carry our bags and getting the taxi for us when we were leaving. The hotel is located in the ancient quarter of Stockholm an excellent location , in fact I cannot conceive of staying in any other location in this city, The apartment was clean and comfortable with plenty of amenities.
