Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

LuxembourgThe shower cubicle - water goes everywhere. The bathroom has a certain smell. The TV didn’t have any channels running…but didn’t bother me. The room felt like university housing to me.
Great single room with a bathroom. It has a b&b feel to it. The breakfast was good. There is always tea and coffee and some snacks available. The bed was comfortable.

United KingdomOnly complaint was my room was right above the entrance to the bar below and some drunk people were congregated outside the door talking loudly and shouting well into the morning. The bar usually shuts early, but as this was Midsommar week they were clearly out drinking past 2am. Doubt it would be an issue 360+ days of the year!
Fantastic value, wonderfully quirky hotel in a fantastic location. Owners were very friendly and couldn’t help enough. Breakfast was plentiful and the free drinks and cakes through the day is such a nice touch. I was a little concerned about a hotel with a shared bathroom but needn’t have been. Everything was spotless, there were always several facilities available and all other guests were courteous. An absolute bargain in Stockholm.

United KingdomIt was a little noisy outside and the window was facing the main street which made want to keep the window closed at night but you can expect that in any city hotel I guess.
The room was clean and spacious, shared bathrooms were always clean and I never had to queue for it. Staff were really friendly and helpful, gave me tips on where to go and what to see around the area. Coffee, tea and refreshments were available all day, I loved that there was fruit! Overall, great value for money.

Czech Republic-curtains not wide enough - too much light -one day got woken up (probably by housekeeping person) + after that somebody started to build scaffolding on the streets - not possible to sleep. -bathroom is very space limited, not suitable for a large person

DenmarkWe didn’t know you cannot shower after 22:00 and it was pretty inconvenient considering we arrived late and also came for a concert 2 days in a row. An information during booking would be nice! Also a little pricey for what we got but it wasn’t that bad considering the availability and demand for the hotel during our stay ;)
