Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

UkraineIt'd be good to have free access to tap water. There were a couple of jugs in the corridor, but they would get empty quite fast and the kitchen was closed for guests. The towels were a bit sticky.
The location is great: close to the very center of the city and the public transport stops. The room was clean. A nice breakfast was included. The staff was friendly. The common bathrooms were clean.

Amazing and cheap B&B in the city centre, for the price you couldn't of asked for more, clean and tidy, good simple breakfast and little station open 24hours microwave, fridge and tea coffee. Room clean, plenty of shared showers and toilets all clean, bed lovely and fast free WiFi. Staff great and let us leave luggage on arrival and departure days so we could explore. Would happily book again

Spotlessly clean, the shared bathrooms were not an issue as staff ensured they were clean and well stocked at all times. We would 100% stay here again if we were to visit Gothenburg in the future.

United StatesLe Mat was very clean, both the room and shared bathroom. The employee Johan was extremely helpful with questions I had and let me store my bags for a few hours after check out. The location was excellent, near to a Main Street with shops and restaurants as well as a greenway walking street. I enjoyed eating Swedish food at Kometen, just a block away (reservations needed). Also convenient was a city bike share Styr & Ställ/NextBike location on the same street. The light breakfast was nice before a trip to the free botanical gardens by bike.

Great location close to all amenities and for tram and bus stop. Lots of good bars and restaurants close by . Accommodation was clean and tidy , basic breakfast, muesli , yoghurt , cheese and ham , toast , fresh orange juice which was sufficient . Only complaint was room was never cleaned in 12 nights or towels renewed . Staff friendly and accommodating , very good price for a stay in Gothenburg , would return
