Good location near the E4 for a overnight stay, we had booked a small double and while indeed small there was space enough for a nights stay, breakfast was very good and the staff very friendly, easy to park at their own parking lot. There was also a self-checkin using a code which worked well

Water would sometime flow from the shower into the bathroom, but not big issue.

Breakfast was really good. In the afternoon, there was free tea/ coffee available, along with cookies and mostly even cake. Behind the hotel there is a nice green area with chairs and tables to relax or eat outside - perfect in the evening sun. Staff is friendly and very helpful. The city park Apladalen nearby is well worth a walk.

There was no one there nor accessible when we arrived at 17.00 - the time we had said we would arrive. Unfortunately, we didn't have the code - my fault, but if this happens what do you do? There is a front door bell, which connects to a phone which has an answerphone attached - please leave a message! In our case this didn't help because no one answered the phone or phoned back. Fortunately, there was someone in the office next door who could help but if they hadn't been working late then we would have had no option but to find other accommodation. If you have the code then all is good - a bit impersonal but ok. If you don't have the code then you are stuck on the street with nowhere to turn. Once we had sorted it out it was fine and the owners made sure we had received the code etc. perhaps it was a one off and would never happen again but our experience was a rather stressful beginning. A warning to make sure to have the code before arriving. Everything was pleasantly resolved in the end. Although the bedroom was small it was clean, quiet and comfortable.

It was comfortable, quiet, had good off-road parking. Not far from the centre of town. There was a good basement breakfast room with tv and coffee and cake in the evening. Somewhere to sit in the evening. A very nice park to wander around very close by.

Although the room was very small it was a very pleasant stay. Staff was nice and they had services you would not even get in a luxury hotel, e.g. free sparkling water.

Stayed here in 2009 & 2013 under previous ownership and it was fine. Under new ownership now and the facilities have been upgraded significantly. Friendly staff and owner, coffee on the go at any time and easy access outside of normal hours. Was attending the Elmia Wood show and the location is ideal as the show ground is only 30 mins away.

This is an old house, so one has to be prepared for narrow stairs and watch one's head on the way to the breafast room in the basement.

Very cosy hotel and very friendly staff. The room was quite compact and rustique. The breakfast was good and there was tea, coffee and cake available at no charge in the evening.

As expected for the price, there's no staff present outside office times. It's "help yourself". The payment for the stay was a bit unorthodox. Swish was preferred. Would have preferred the opportunity for payment in advance.

Extremely good value for the money. The room and much of the facilities were like new. Good, fresh breakfast. Good communication through text and mail.

The stairs were a bit tricky, especially for our elderly travel companions. With rooms on the second floor, entrance floor 1/2 flight up from street level, and breakfast/coffee in the basement (=1 floor down from entrance), this was a bit of a challenge.

Nice B&B with fair rooms and tasty breakfast. Free Wifi. They also had complimentary coffee service available all day for free. Well worth the cost!

Everything worked smoothly. It was super good, that contactless chek-in 24 h and coffe/tea/cookies were available 7/24. But when something was needed, people were there to help and organizing things.

The busy road outside was very noisy, which forced us to keep the windows closed despite incredibly hot room, a room at the back of the hotel would probably preferable.
