To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United KingdomEverything was fine. I could find no fault with the hotel or over areas which it had control. There was a state visit which locked down the vicinity of the hotel, preventing taxis to access.
An excellent reception on arrival with room upgrade to a juniour suite overlooking the palace. Friendly staff, excellent venue for breakfast and early evening drinks. Service impeccable.

SwedenAt the spa the water in the pools were a bit cold, not the winter cold one but the the two bigger ones and the area for lunch or smoothie by the gym has not the same standard that matches the rest of the hotel. Staff at the spa reception is fantastic.

Excellent location right in the middle of Stockholm. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the whole place had a clean and elegant appearance. The rooms are big and nicely furnished; the beds are huge but the blankets/pillows could have been more comfortable (to each their own). The breakfast buffet had something for everybody, the quality of food and service was excellent.

GermanyEverything was great. The hotel is expensive but it is just amazing... The room looked like in a museum, the food was delicious and the Spa Area (book in advance!) was very relaxing and warm. The staff did a great job too, everyone was very helpful. The place in which the hotel is located is probably one of the best in Stockholm - close to everywhere, the metro station is maybe 100 meters away, beautiful area to just walk around. I can fully recommend!
