But if I would make any suggestions, maybe think of some more substantial pillows (though the bed was really comfortable), and also maybe a minifridge to keep beverages and snacks cool. Last but not least, maybe find somewhere for a small gym for your guests. Just some food for thought!
It's always wonderful to get good service in Sweden (as it can't be taken for granted)! The staff a Hotel Furusund was exceptional! They were super accommodating and went out of their way to make our stay as pleasant as it could possibly be! For that alone, I will give them 5 stars. Beyond that, the hotel is located in one of the most idyllic parts of the Swedish archipelago, it was a famous artist community at the turn of the century. There is lots to see, or you can just relax and take the views from the hotel. Recommend a room with a view! The restaurant goes out of its way to serve inventive dishes that are quite delicious. The breakfast buffet is also one of the best I've had. I will be back! Thank you so much!

Personnel made us feel like home: very accommodating and gently interested in our experience. We also loved the view to the sea and the beautiful decoration.

SwedenThe main lights of the room did not work, there was a huge lamp on top of the bed that was not usable and a standing lamp close to the sofa that was also unusable. The heating is not centralized so you depend on yourself turning on the hot air, which works of course (also seems like there is AC in the summer, which is great!). The bathroom floor is not heated and can get cold (which won't be a problem in the summer). If you happen to arrive early want to check in, they will charge you. The price of the dinner is higher than what is written in the web, however: it is a SUPERB dinner.
This is one of the best hotels (if not the best) we have stayed in Sweden. Sweden does not have the tradition of hospitality that can be found in other European countries so it is rare to find good hotels outside the main city and those found usually are very expensive, focus on "experience" packages (which is mostly alcoholic/spa), and they tend to lack cleanliness. This one was spotless and could have been located in Switzerland. The room was beautiful, there was free water, the view was very nice and the restaurant top level. We slept well and had a fantastic breakfast. And the area is just amazing. Looking forward to come back in other seasons!
