To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

BrazilCheckin took a little longer than usual, but there was a large (and probably unexpected) group of tourist that arrived all at the same time, so that's understandable. The TV didn't work very well (likely because the bedroom is underground), but that's just a sidenote, really, since I barely stayed at the hotel anyway.
Excellent breakfast, with a wide variety of choices and quality food. The bedroom was fine, exactly what you would expect from a hotel in this price range. Clean, confortable and well equipped. The location is, without a doubt, the best thing about it, since the hotel is located no more than five minutes from the bus, metro and train central stations, which allows you to go pretty much anywhere in the city without having to walk too much or depend on taxis/ubers.

AustraliaThe only slight fault was that there was no electrical outlet by the bed to charge a phone at night. But i had a long cord so i was able to reach from across the room. This is only minor and didnt detract at all from my stay here :)
Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful when i wanted to know how to send a package abroad. The breakfast was wonderful too

United KingdomGiven a disabled room. Thought it would be difficult for a disabled person to get into bed as limited space between bed & wall. The main room light could not be switched off from the bed (and was quite low, light over bed was glaring as dimmer switch did mot work). Normal position for the toilet roll was nearly out of reach from the toilet.

IndiaThe jacuzzi in my room was not functioning. I was there was 7 days and there was no attempt to reapir the system.
The Rooms are spacious and the hotel has a good property with luxurious facilites. The breakfast is also good. The locaiton is 5 min from the main station and easily accessible. The room i booked had a Sauna and Jacuzzi, although the jacuzzi did not work and they did not repair it. Also, they ensure to clean the room everyday.
