It’s not the run of the mill hotel and has an interesting historical background. We were in a new wing and the room was exceptional. Very spacious and comfortable. Breakfast is self serve with a good choice of food. Buses are only a few minutes walk away and the hotel is very close to the Viking Stockholm - Helsinki terminal.

It is a wonderful location; close to public transport and to wonderful restaurants. Their breakfast which is included had a great variety of options and was very good. The room was simple but adequate. Lovely old building!

The wifi was very unreliable and super slow. I opted not to bother and used the eSIM I'd purchased prior to travelling. Others at the training said the same thing. While the centre has a long and clearly illustrious history, there's a bit of a sense that the Ersta Hotell & Konferens hasn't quite worked out what it wants to be in terms of a facility in the 2020s. If you're happy to accept these quirks - and we were - it is a great place to stay.

What a location!! Adjacent to the Ersta Terrass cliff, the hotel overlooks much of the central Stockholm archipelago. The bus stop at the bottom of the hill (two minutes walk) has continual services to the transport hubs of Slussen and Centraal and there are eateries, a pharmacy , convenience stores and a small supermarket within easy walking distance. The hotel provides a perfectly adequate breakfast and as a venue for the four day training I attended it was great to be able to stay onsite. In addition the location made accessing all the key attractions of Stockholm an absolute breeze (I'd certainly recommend an SL transport pass for as many days as you're visiting the city - we found it superb value for money.) The room was clean and comfortable.

Lift area floor was dirty and there was no fridge in the room. Otherwise no complaints.

Great breakfast. Great location. Staff were amazingly helpful. Some areas needed cleaning, but overall would certainly recommend and would return.

The key for the elevator never worked, the employee had to "open" every time! We were told it would be possible to grab a coffee and a bagel as early as 0615 in the breakfast room next morning, needed to be at Viking Line at latest 0645! But key for the elevator did not work and the doors from the stairways to the breakfast room floor were locked and our keys did not function for that door!

Nice spot just a couple of km outside the old town but overlooking the harbour and city from a beautiful raised spot. Very walkable and easily accessible transport. The rooms were comfortable and quite large with modern bathrooms. Everything you want to see the beautiful city of Stockholm

The room was cold. There is no air conditioning. We had a 2-room apartment for 3 people, there was no light in one of the rooms, but I think this was a temporary problem, there were problems with electricity that day.

The hotel is located 15 minutes walk from the Viking terminal in a pretty monastery. You can have breakfast before the morning ferry. The buffet breakfast is quite varied. Very nice staff at the hotel. A beautiful courtyard with an observation deck. Nice quiet area, nearby there is a delicious cafe with meatballs. The room has a kettle, tea, coffee, milk. Rooms for 3 isolated, with a door. You can feel private)

Great value for money and excellent buffet breakfast. It is part of a conference centre and bigger campus which feels a bit removed from the action of the area - but everything is close walking distance.

Toiletries provided were very basic. The TV didn't work properly. It cut out every few seconds and after a few minutes only had an image with no sound.

Location was good and quiet so worked well for my trip.

Although location is fantastic, getting there requires a bus from the tunnelbana, so it's a bit of a hassle. The bedroom was okay, we stayed at the standard bedroom and it felt like staying in a basement room and it was old and a tad bit creepy. The bedroom has a window, but the scenery was a creepy old warehouse (I did not took a picture of the bedroom and the window scenery). One point as well was that my bag, which was locked with a coded padlock was somehow tampered with. I know because I usually set it at 0000, and when I came back it was all jumbled up. Thankfully, nothing was stolen. However, don't let this bad anecdote from probably only one bad apple stop you from staying in this nice hotel.

Location is good. The place is historical and has a vantage point that oversees Stockholm. Breakfast area was my favorite, very nice, with a very quaint dining area.

One has to pass through 2 door locks if they are staying on 1 and 1/2 floor section of the property. It was a bit inconvenient because doors were followed by narrow stairs and if one has heavy luggage then they may fall down.

The location of the hotel was fantastic and staff members were very polite and helpful.
