no reception at later arriving hours. no sauna, when the reception is not occupied. kind of self checkin. and trays at the beautiful breakfast buffet with this wagons where you’re supposed to put the used ones. i get the idea, but it really takes charme from this nice hotel

I did not like the fact that I was not asked for the key to the room when I checked out. I should have remembered as well, of course, but I didn't, and so had to turn around about an hour into our trip home... Don't forget to leave your key!

I am very picky about coffee, and that was not the best, but otherwise breakfast was very nice.

Wooden windows were in need of re-painting, some room doors needed some persuasion to close properly. Sauna / wellness area had apparently not been accessed in a longer time (stale basement smell)

Excellent location, the classical first house facing the town square opposite the church. Good breakfast and friendly staff. Charming rooms with high ceilings in a 1890s building, some public rooms with period furniture.

Very thin walls! Doors to rooms slam shut which wakes you up as others arrive home late or leave early. Bathroom supplies not very generous. A really nice soap and shampoo would lift it a little.

Breakfast was so so. The soft boiled eggs were raw, the "Omelette" was not good. Why not use actual eggs and scramble or fry them!?

The pickles were very good. Everything else was average. Nothing that stood out as Wow!

A lack of maintenance is evident almost everywhere. The washbasin in my room's bathroom was cracked, one lightbulb on the verge of giving up. The wood in the windows cracked. At €150 per night I can't say I got value for the.money.

The room smelled of sewage. This was noted after the reception had closed. Thought about calling the emergency number, but did a survey myself. The problem was a nonexisting seal between the toilet and sewage pipe. When flushing the sink sewage noise could be heard from the base of the toilet indicating that no water lock was present and thus allow sewage gases to escape into the room. The ventilation did not work until the morning. Thus the room was very hot. A lot of noise from the city square below where workers where dismantling a temporary arena until late at night and starting again before 7 in the morning. Receptionist didn't feel very welcoming, i.e. no smiles and only answered on direct questions.

Nice location. Good breakfast with several types of cheese etc. Nice breakfast restaurant. Manager was polite.

I feel the rooms need a renovation or something. The rooms feels very worn. The walls was very damaged etc.

I like the history of the building and the location of it. The Staff was very helpfull and service minded.

When we arrived to check in, the door was locked and nobody was working there! We had 3 rooms reserved. People were finally coming out and we grabbed the door and got in. We called the hotel and someone gave us the code to open a box. They told us which keys were for our rooms! The tiny old elevator didn’t have a door, so you could touch the walls as you went up. Also, it went to the wrong floors and one time just stopped in between floors!

They have a great breakfast. The hotel was clean.

The staff lies a lot and changes their words every five minutes and if you ask to meet the manager you can't and they pay you more than what is required.

I will not come her agin bad staff and bad behavior.

Very good location centrally in Eksjö and close to the old wooden town. Room was of good standard in the adjacent building. Breakfast was superb.
