the hotel room was outdated, full of defective, broken, damaged things. Tv hardly works, totally uncomfortable bed and pillow. The lamp on the terrace was broken, the support bar in the bathroom was broken. The swimming pool is quite ok, but too much chlorine in the water and in the air. you can't stay too long because you feel bad, and no window opens!

We picked this hotel based on the list of facilities, but essential items were missing. There were supposed to be tumble dryer and ironing equipment, which I spent much time to find in my long search for hotels around Bran. We had lots of laundry to do, after a week on the road, so we decided to pay the high price for this room, to get laundry done within the 2 days of staying. However, there were no such items. The staff said we then had to move to a much more expensive room or we could pay (a lot) to have our clothes washed and ironed. We tried to show them that we already had booked and paid for such a room, but the lack of English and "management" ended in that we resigned and went out to buy some new underwear, that was the most significant. The "free WiFi" they advertise is just open in a few public areas in the hotel and not in the rooms or in the restaurant where breakfast is served! However, when we asked, they gave us an Internet cable. Only next to one bedside, there was installed a connection for it, but the whole set of socket board was broken. We tried to connect the cable, without success and the first evening we had to buy extra bundle of Internet from our provider in NL, so we could use the phone as a hot spot for our other equipments. The next afternoon, when we found staff with better understanding of English, we were offered to change to a similar room, where the socket was OK. However, nothing of what was promised of other sorts were there. So, my technical partner got some tools and managed to fix the Internet socket. A great thanks to the helpful guy that offered us a solution! The room service was very hard to reach, so if you want to order something, you better go down to the bar behind the reception and ring the bell for help. It was still impossible to get food, only drinks. And even my order of a Hugo, came as a Cuba Libre instead! In the facilities it also says that the room was totally handicap friendly.

The hotel room was big and comfortable, but missed essential items that was listed in the description at Booking.com. Some of these items were the reason why we booked the more expensive family room. Wolf 2 is pretty close to the main attraction, Bran Castle. It has private parking, that is essential to us. We really enjoyed the Wellness center, with pool, saunas and massages. We had really great massages for the best price we have ever had in a hotel. If you want a delightful, relaxing and healthy massage, the "Wolf special" is a main reason to stay at this hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful, but struggle with English. The room was very clean, but had extremely much "tear and wear'. This makes it a bit difficult to appreciate the tremendous work that the staff put into their cleaning. However, we are thankful for our clean room and for the help with things that were broken (Internet connection and electrical sockets)! Despite some negative experiences with our room, we give the hotel an 8, many issues could have been avoided, just by giving the correct list over facilities to Booking.com. When we have high expectations according to what we are promised, the disappointment is affecting our sense of the whole experience. So, please take that advice from us.

Everything just comes a bit short of good/great. Breakfast buffet was never properly refilled in time, awful bread (although at lunch you get decent one against cost), no hot water in the mornings, shower spraying everywhere through the hose, sauna wasn't on at 9pm, etc. Lots of little things that just cut from what this place can truly be.

Big rooms, 2 allocated next to each other as requested, good extra bed added, good spa facilities, big garden, and spacious playground. We liked the on site restaurant. Great views

I did not read that there is a problem with the Internet in this hotel, you need to additionally ask the staff to connect it. This created some inconvenience for me.

I've upgrated a double room to an apartment as we took also my almost 2 years daughter and half of the house with us :). I' ve mentioned to the hotel the fact that i have a 2 years old but the apartment was in the attic (a lot of stairs to go up&down). When we arrived, there was total darkness in the attic hall (fixed around 4 PM). The furniture was old. The bed was not comfy (had lumps). The apartment was huge but the bathroom was accessible only from the bedroom (nok as if my kid slept, i couldn't access it). The jacuzzi may be nice but i've preferred a bathtub. Also the jacuzzi was old, probably was broken, the hot water faucet was broken,some nozzles were rusty - sincerelly the double room was better from bathroom point of view. There was no WiFi (it only works on ground floor) - nok for 2023. Also, the cable in the apartment was not working. Nothing in the mini-bar and the hotel bar closed at 9 - had to go to the shop in fron of the resort. The pool was very large and perfect for a good swim but was nok for a 2 year old as it was very deep. The water was very very very cold, the pool was not taken care off (was dirty, none of the nozzles worked anymore). The wet sauna didn't wprket at all. Sincerelly, it is ok for couples and families with bigger kids but with toddlers - 0 activities and you had to always be on the watch for the stairs/ pool/ ground etc I was really dissapointed of the apartment and condition of the hotel (maybe all the money were put in the new hotel/ part and the old one needs to wait its turn)

The apartment was really really large, had a fireplace, the bathroom was huge, everything was really clean. The double room had a comfy bed and the bathroom was modern & clean. The place had good facilities, 2 restaurants and a mega-shop It's a great place to relax

The room was not fully ready for three people. There was no minibar in room, but it was written that he is. SPA area was uncomfortable. Sauna off,water in swimming pool not warm, not all showers were working. Some places have cords and lights unfitted properly. The stairs from 4th level to mansarda have lack of light. My sister has weak vision and she fallen off, thanks Lord didn't hurt herself! I was expected better for such price!

- the very hard and lumpy bed mattress - they gave us accomodation and we payed extra for our dog, this is OK,, but when we talked to the reception to let the balcony door open because it was too hot, they offered to block the passage to the other guest's balcony and they offered a solution, but in words only. - the breakfast is decent, however was surprised by hulks of bacon/keiser in the omelette. - it's a dice if the coffee &soda is good or not. - the basketball 🏀 hoops is broken since 1 year ago. - would be nice to have a net behind the tennis court to avoid having the balls fall in the river behind it.

- the pool - the tennis court - decent restaurant - friendly staff - the location - there is some variation for breakfast. - the tomato from the breakfast are always delicious (not sure, but I think they grow thier own).

The room is really big and not that bad but the furniture is old and has a lot of usage marks. Water tank was not working, so instead of sleeping on the sound of the river nearby we slept on the sound of water pouring continuously in the toilet. Someone came to fix it, it worked once more then broke again. The pool water was quite cold. I would say it is a 3* hotel, not 4.

The staff was incredibly helpful and nice. They had a nice programme as we stayed during Easter, it was really nice for the kids. The view is amazing and the architecture of the hotel very very nice.

The water in the pool was very cold, the sauna did not work and there was a weird smell in the spa area. We received a room that was not heated, after several calls on the reception they managed to switch and give us an appartment which was much better. Breakfast was a little poor and there were no intentions of the staff to refill some products - honey/ chocolate/ cereals/ milk/ salads. The coffee was awful and though we paid at the bar for espresso, it was the same as from the one available in the restaurant.
