Amazing place, quiet location but walking distance to the center.. Clean room, confy bed, large bathroom. The host is very kind and offered us coffee, tea and still water. Right în front its Cerna river its simple great to have a coffee and relax next to the river.

The location was beautiful. The apartment was very clean and we woke up to the sound of the river. Also the host was very helpful and friendly, he even let us try some of his wine. We definitely recommend staying here.

Very new, clean and comfy accommodation with an absolutely lovely private riverside garden with armchairs, picnic tables, and even a hammock. I wish we had had more time to enjoy the garden. Very friendly welcome from young and lovely owners. Everything worked the way it was supposed to. We very much enjoyed the welcome drink.

The rooms were tastefully renovated, large modern showers snd such. The best part was the patio, going out to the cleanest stream, with plenty of places to sit. The hosts were very nice and kind

We had a great stay at the Rio. The host was very welcoming and friendly, and the apartment is newly furbished, clean and tidy. There is a coffee maker on the balcony you can use. What really sells this place is the garden which extends to the Cerna river - an unbelievably cool place to spend a summer afternoon. Note however that it is not near to the center of Baile Herculane and that there are not many facilities or attractions nearby, it is a peaceful place you can use as a base to explore the surroundings.

The only thing I didn't like was the weather :)

I liked the inner courtyard where you can just sit in the hammock and listen to the river. The hosts were very friendly and polite. The room was extremely clean and comfortable.

The place is newly furbished, the location is intimate and very beautiful (Cerna river crossing the courtyard). It is a bit far from the center, but we had the car for longer trips.

In the hot summer days AC would be a nice addition, but even without, the temperature is reasonable.

The location is perfect, at the shore of the Cerna river. The place is very quiet, with a great view. The room, the house and the backyard are very simple in style, which makes the accommodation the perfect spot for being relaxed. No loud neighbors around. The hosts, Ionel and Madalina are amazing people, great hosts and very friendly. I will love to come back again. Thank you for making us feel so welcomed, it really felt like we were visiting our family.

Everything was perfect.

An extraordinary location, recently opened and spotlessly clean, great value for the price. It's close to the center (2 minute drive) and they allowed us to bring our cat which is a big plus. The room is large and you have everything you need (including a fridge) plus a coffee machine with pods and milk on the house. We enjoyed a relaxing 3 day extended weekend here, we loved the terraced garden and the sound of the river close by. The owners were very friendly and helpful, they gave us a lot of suggestions about where to eat and what to visit. We will definitely stay here again when we go to Herculane!

The city is kind of dead. Just one or two places to eat, no other activities...

The stay was great, just by the river, nice sound when you leave the window open. Great host, free coffee in the morning. Very good price considering the average for the city.

The house and room is new, near river. Great people, owner gave me free beers after arrival and coffee in the morning, very kind, reccomend. Nice little garden with chairs.
