Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

TurkeyThere is a mistake in the system.. place has just 1 double bed. But there was a option in the system if you pay 10 lei differences it says you can book the room which has 2 double beds I choosed but there is no any second bed.

United KingdomIt's a nice cheap spot nr to town center, in a relaxed area. The landlady is a bit unusual in her manner, I think she thought I'd steal the fittings. I look a bit beardy after my travels it must be said. Note for disabled You may struggle with the toilet as there's not the leg room in front, (I'm not but I'm not small either) this room also doubles as a shower room (wet room). It works for the more petite :) The seagulls get up very early and there's a lot of them, they seem to imitate cats very well, that's good fun so take your earplugs. I found that quaint I must say. All in all good value for money honey.

United StatesA water kettle would have been nice. The bathroom was tiny and a bit difficult to take a shower in, but it was sufficient for getting clean - not a great hardship.
The hostess was very sweet and easily to contact because she lived in the same building. The location was very good - close to shops and cafes and the old town.

UkraineToilet is very small and is located in the corridor (separately from the room where you stay). No space to take shower (shower room is the same toilet). If you don't have slippers/flip flops, you will have to barefoot to your room through the corridor after shower. The room has no window or any air ventilation. It's constantly very stuffy and very dry air. No mirror in the room or even a hook to leave a wet towel dry.
The hostess was very kind and pleasant. The room and bedsheets were clean.

GermanyThree places were exceptional. On a 10 day thrip throughout Romanina and a short stay in Russe (Bulgaria) I had 6 or 7 places to stay. 3 were - having used a limited budget - exceptionally good. All in or near the center of the town. All walking distance from the railway station. (As general rule, Google Maps these countries is most times better than Apple Maps). At all these three very good places in different areas they exceeded expectations. And the hosts were reachable, listening and gave guidance to - most times outside - issues.

Bulgariafirstly the bed was not a bed but a sofa bed old and very uncomfortable, the covers old and no extra ones. secondly it was cold and there was no way to adjust the temperature. thirdly, the hygienic conditions were also not at a satisfactory level.

TurkeyThe landlady is very sweet, pleasant conversational, positive, high-energy and always trying to help. When I said that I came to Constanta for the first time, she also gave a little information about this place. There was a hole in my shoe and he provided me with glue for it. After checking out at 12:00, I went to the sea, left my things at the hotel and when I returned, he let me use the shower. The room was very clean, there was a shared bathroom & toilet for 2 rooms. The bathroom&toilet was a bit small, but it was okay for me, when we talked, she said that he allocated me this bathroom because I was the only one, he said that he allocated a different, much bigger bathroom for the family. It is 5 minutes walking to the mall and 15 minutes to the beach. There are also good places to eat and drink in the vicinity. If I come to Constanta again, I would like to stay here again.
