    “The apartment was large compared to other properties at that price and the terrace was a great area to use when the sun was out. It was clean and had sufficient items for cooking and cleaning. The coffee cups are small, so if you have anything larger than a double espresso, you might need to take your travel cup (NB the coffee machine was a Nespresso original pod type machine). The location was excellent. We used a nearby side street to unload the car (Orange zone) and then used a nearby car park in the Green zone which was 5 Euros per day. We had some problems initially connecting to the internet, but Myriame was super helpful and quick to respond; once we had turned the router/modem off and on again, all was well and we found the internet was quick.”

    “Alexander is a great host and the apartment is very well equipped. It is modern and comfortable with a lovely view of the canal. The town centre is nearby and the excellent Petit Paris bakery and Petit Paris bar are even closer. It was an excellent base for our cycling adventures and we explored routes to the north, west, south and east of Verne.”

We prepared our own breakfast and the kitchen had all the necessary equipment. There is also a washing machine that you can use. We thank the host for making our trip more comfortable.”
