“We chose this hotel for its price and proximity to the station, so we were pleasantly surprised by how excellent the complimentary breakfast was. The staff were polite, friendly and very efficient. Overall, good value for money.”

“Overall a lovely big hotel in Hakone. Although far out from central Hakone and not accessible by public transport (we rented a car so it was okay for us), it has breath-taking sea views! Disclaimer: the views are excellent on clear weather days only. The second day we were there, we couldn't see the sea view at all because it was raining the entire day from dawn till sun set. We only saw the amazing views on our checking out morning! Because on the day we checked in, we arrived very late in the night. It was a 2 hour drive from Gotemba. We decided to visit central Hakone and Premium Outlets first. We are very grateful to the kind, female hotel reception staff during check in. A young lady - unfortunately we don't know her name. The first room we got was not very clean but old and worn out. Also we saw a huge insect the size and colour of a cockroach running around in the living room. We were quite freaked out. We also had a little issue with the bathroom blinds. So we went down to the reception and informed the lady on duty. It was past 10 pm and we were tired. She was very helpful and understanding and immediately changed our rooms to a cleaner and bigger one. It was easy communicating in English with her too. On checkout day, another young lady served us, she was also very pleasant and apologised again on our check in room experience although I had forgotten about it. Thank you very much for the small birthday surprise for our son, we appreciated it very much! They have basic coffee, tea and ice provision at the hotel lobby, nearer to the pool table end. Our kids enjoyed games at the pool table and also some board games provided near the hotel reception. Lovely to have on a super rainy day when our outdoor visits were disrupted. Buffet breakfasts were decent and sufficient although not a wide variety. They serve sashimi, fish, some Japanese food, fruits, bread and yoghurt. Omelette and french toasts are available at the manned counter too.”

“It's a no-fuss comfortable business hotel not too far from the station. We booked two rooms for one night, both rooms were spotlessly clean with all amenities we needed. The staff were friendly and efficient.”

  • “Staff service”

  • “The hotel is amazingly located to the airport - to which it is connected by a suspended passageway. Super-convenient for early-morning or late-night flights. Could not have breakfast but promptly got packaged food instead. The views are great, the airport terminal has shops and restaurants within easy reach. The rooms are big and clean, all necessary amenities available. Would stay again anytime and do recommend heartily.”

“Staff were so friendly. Bike hire and riding to rope-gondola to see Mt Fuji are highlights from our trip so far. Great restaurant just around the corner.”
