  • Ye Olde Cheshire Cheese Review score: 10

“Lovely village Inn, very well renovated and kept in great condition. The accomodation is separate from the actual pub/restaurant, so there is no noise, the actual room was comfortable, clean and tidy. Breakfast was amazing. Great find, just wish I could have explored around the area more.”

  • The Shoulder Of Mutton Inn Review score: 10

“Absolutely one of the most friendly, accomodating, and enjoyable places I've ever stayed. Good food, good ale, good hosts. What a fantastic village setting! Granted, it was a 'special occasion' - the "D-Day 80" Commemoration - that others staying and many of the village had embraced but I'm sure it would be as smashing at any time!”
