We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

The waitress asked what toast we’d like - but not when we wanted it so it came long before our hot dish was was stone cold: we could have asked for more, hot toast but would have wasted the rest. Annoying that the WiFi had been out of order for several days though no fault of the hotel’s.
Lovely, airy room, well appointed and with comfortable chairs. The breakfast was good, with delicious sausages and a separate pot of coffee for each of us.
