“I liked everything. Location is subjective but was perfect for me as a short walk to the train and bus station. It is also very close to some walking route in the mountains where you will have the beautiful view. I regret to spend only 1 night there but went to Lichenstein next day. Staff was friendly, room was clean and price included a reasonable breakfast with enough choice for everyone. I am happy to stayed at this hotel and would return again.”

“Beautiful mountains and scenery. The village was limited in restaurants, shops which either closed early or were closed altogether.”
“The hotel is conveniently located across the train station and the tram stops, which also means it can be a little noisy. However, guests are provided with ear plugs which really help to block out the noise from the trains. Very close to the old town which is within walkable distance. St. Gallen is an alternative but great base for those who are looking at visting the Alpstein / Appenzellar region but also wants the convenience and flexibility of adjusting travel plans, as there are a number of regions that are easily reachable under a 2-3 hour time frame via train. Room is very clean.”
