Fan bungalow was enough for me; designed perfectly to let in the seabreeze. You get to enjoy the sound of the waves (but they also have bigger bungalows with AC) Loved it here: Simple, pretty,quiet and comfortable. Massage right there on a platform by the beach!
8am to 8pm kitchen with ok food. (I was so happy there was no music!!!) Two resorts up, at Andalay, you can enjoy cocktails in a more luxurious setting. Food still reasonably priced.
A little bit futher up the beach access to tiny village with local shop and one eatery, Fisherman's kitchen. Had simple but tasty lunch there a few times.
Really appreciate that there was a big beachmat available in the bungalow and free drinking water - great customer service!
Best option on the island i would say (unless maybe you want to splurge for Andalay. Although i could and still decided not to and continued to stay at Le D.)”
