“What a fantastic host Sokratis is. We arrived at 9.30pm, checked in, popped our luggage in the room, then headed to the bar for a complementary drink. A, much appreciated, Mythos for my husband and a G&T for me. We were made to feel very welcome and there was a lovely atmosphere on the terrace, lots of regulars, and it was obvious that Sokratis is highly thought of. We stayed for a few more drinks then headed back to our room. We had a beautiful (newly finished?) bathroom, two single beds in the kitchen area, two single beds in the bedroom, two terraces, each with a table and chairs. Everything has been carefully thought out, a generous selection of toiletries, insect repellent plug in, washing up liquid, a sponge scourer, etcetera. The breakfast was an amazing three courses… table service, a selection of bread, cakes and biscuits, fried eggs served with bacon and herbs, yogurt with chopped fruit, coffee and fruit juice. Exactly what we needed to set us up for the start of our island hopping. We walked to the port - a very short walk - where Sokratis met us with our luggage that he’d brought down in the car. Greek hosting at its absolute best.”
“Everything - the spectacular views, the space and comfort of the apartment, the staff, the handy supermarket and bus stop……. The whole experience was excellent.
Our host Dimitris was outstanding. He speaks perfect English, was friendly, polite, helpful, always available by phone, dealt with any problems promptly (we had a small leak in the bathroom and the plumber mended it within hours).
We visited the Merikia War Museum which is definitely worth seeing, although quite difficult to reach as the public bus only goes as far as Lakki. The 360 degree view from the Castle was amazing and a just reward for climbing the 300 plus steps to reach it.”

Our room had a little balcony which overlooked the beautiful beach.
Although the room was very compact it had everything that we needed for our 11 night stay in Kefalos.
We were going to go to Kardamena and changed our mind at the last minute and boy are we glad we did!
Christoula is an amazing host. Nothing is too much trouble. She is very kind and caring about all her guests. It is not a surprise that several of the guests staying while we were there had been coming year after year.
It is a home from home :)
There is a little supermaket a minutes walk from the apartment which was well stocked.
We swam over to the little Island which is an easy swim and rang the bell on the little church.
