“I stayed here a week ago due to work and as a lone female I felt really safe. The lady who checked me in was lovely, really friendly and helpful, as was everyone working there. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the room was clean.
It’s great value for money, includes a breakfast and although the bathroom was not in as good condition as the room, this didn’t matter. It’s clear that the owners are working hard to refurbish the place and they are really putting a lot of effort into it.
I will be booking again, and this will be my 1st choice when I’m in the area.”

“This was our second visit to the Horse and Panniers and again we were not disappointed. Chris is an excellent, easy going host, nothing is too much trouble for him and the included breakfast is amazing.
The local pub 'The Fox' has a great selection of beers and food at reasonable prices and the staff are very friendly.”
