“The house at La Rueda is in a quiet residential area. We parked in the driveway and our host Yanet was there to greet us. She showed us around the property and handed over the keys leaving us to our own devices. The facilities at the house included a washing machine so we were able to wash and dry our clothes . The kitchen was simple and serviceable with all amenities we could want giving us chance to shop for and prepare our own meals. The layout of the house suited us perfectly with the bedrooms downstairs next to the bathroom. The living room had a double height ceiling and a mezzanine floor and we sat and played cards and watched TV in comfort. The garden around the property was secluded and private. We were only a short distance from the beach and we took the opportunity walk down for a dip which was very exciting”
“The apartment is located directly on the beach. You can even see the sunrise from your bed. It was very clean and you got everything ready what you need. The bed was sooo comfortable! I really enjoyed staying at Solar Valizas :)”
“Very nice location near the beach, with a nice view on the beach. The rooms are actually container blocks, a bit old, but comfortable with a good bed, fridge, small but good shower. Breakfast was in the Vieja Blanca hotel and it was good (also with fresh fruit). Good value for money. I would give it a score of 7 to 8 if it hadn't been so hard to find the hotel (see negative point).”
“Small and simple but with everything you need what makes it perfect for the unique carbo experience. Easy to find. Nice common spaces. Social. Close to the beach. Nice staff. And Hammocks 👍”
“Even though I booked a shared room the host let me choose one of the single rooms as I was the only guest (off-season). The house is cute, they put up candles during the night but there are even a few LEDs in the rooms at night as the place has solar panels and a small wind turbine. I was lucky to be there during a star-bright night and observed the Milky Way from the roof terrace. The place is right next to the little supermarket and very close to the terminal.”
