“The location is excellent. Close to the clock tower, step well and market with panoramic view of the fort from the rooftop restaurant. The food was the best we've had so far after 4 weeks in India so we ended up having all our meals there. The staff were always eager to help in any way and the restaurant service was very efficient.”

“Good location (a bit outside the city, but safe) with beautifully kept garden to relax. Simple breakfast — coffee or tea, omelette and toast — could be ordered. Host family helped with train bookings and other things upon request. Nice restaurant (Café 202) with both Indian and continental cuisine in walking distance!”
“This is a beautiful 250 year old haveli. Bilal is a sensitive and hardworking manager. He met us at the station, organised trips and even helped us with train tickets to Jaisalmer. The food at the hotel was delicious. Breakfast was served in our room. We really enjoyed our stay here.”

The highlights were the location, the spacious room, the peaceful garden, and the tasty and nutritious homemade breakfasts with French press coffee (and one delicious dinner). Nikhil and his family were fantastic hosts - kind, good humoured, and ready with helpful suggestions when we asked. Thank you!”
