Immediate area is a bit run down but walkable to major sights. Air conditioner drips a bit but not needed at night.

Staff did a great job communicating with me in advance and anticipating the dangers of me arriving late at the train station. Thanks, Ali! Room was as promised & comfortable. Upstairs restaurant was convenient. Staff was friendly and advice helpful.

The location is awesome, very close to the fort, patwon ki haveli but still in a relatively quiet area The hostel looks very clean and beautiful with a lovely rooftop with a great view on the fort. The room was spacious and clean, just incredible value for money There was also wide selection of delicious food options available. Staff were very friendly, hospitable and flexible. They even invited us to join a little celebration and offered us delicious chocolate cake! Highly recommended place to stay in hotel fotiya jaisalmer

The hostel was amazing, such a nice service, a beautiful roof top to chill with people from all around the world. The hosts were really kind and they helped us to manage our stay in jaishlmeer to experience the non touristic desert safari it was great experience and the peacefulness of the city. they are incredible people and they create a special and welcome vibes that will make you feel like at home The rooms are amazing, the best ones I stayed in India so far, with big bed and very comfortable mattress and pillows - and everything is clean and tidy.l highly recommended to everyone who wants to have an authentic experience with locals

There are many things we liked such as: 1.Cleaness: This has been the cleanest place we've stayed in India, when we arrived we received our room in the best condition ever. 2. Staff: The people working there went above and beyond to help us out in everything we needed. Really helped us out with transportation from and onto the trail station early in the morning and they also helped us guiding us around the city.3.Desert tour: In the hotel they recommended us the best desert tour ever, which allowed us to see the desert, the sunset, and afterwards the sky full of stars. The tour operator was very friendly and helped us out with any question we had around the region. Overall, it was an incredible experience that made us love Jalsaimer and its people.

Nice place, peaceful in the night time. Walking distance from town and the fort. Hot shower, comfy bed. There’s also a great restaurant on the roof with some Korean specialties for a decent price. After the desert tour they let me use a room to shower in, which was very kind.

Great stay in Jaisalmer. Ali and his team are so nice people They came to pick us up when we got off the bus and were very attentive throughout the stay. The guesthouse is well located and the rooms are very clean. Additionally, it is possible to shower when returning from the desert and enjoy the camel safari is great experience rooftop which is very pleasant. There is also a delicious restaurant, which is very convenient. Excellent place to spend a few days during a stopover in Jaisalme

We booked the budget double room for two nights and loved it! It's the best value for money and we would have paid twice as much for this cosy room. It was very clean and the bed was very big and comfortable. The location is a bit out of the main fort area, which we really liked. It's quieter and the bus station is only a few minutes away :) They also arrange desert safaris with "Arbina Desert Safari" which we really enjoyed! You should definitely do this if you are in Jaisalmer 😍

I would recommend this place to anyone traveling to Jaisalmer. From the nice staff, clean room and food, everything was great! fotiya organised our desert experience to a remote non-touristy spot in the desert (unlike the others advertised around town). Sayar is an amazing chef, cooks everything fresh, and the best gatte curry in town. Amazing experience, they even gave us a lift to the station and made sure we found our seats on the train

First of all the location is very accessible if you arrive by Bus (5min by foot). Rooms are spacious and comfortable, hot water is provided. Fort is 10min by foot. The staff is super friendly and will do everything possible to make your stay as pleasant as possible. I went to a ride through the desert organised by the host which was super cool. There are also spots to collect fossils just ask them for the location. Breakfast on the rooftop with sunrise was perfect. I had a great time there and will definitely come back if I have the chance.

We arrived late at night and they came to pick us up, very nice service. The bed is really confortable and the room was beautiful! They have a rooftop cafe where to have breakfast lunch and dinner with Fort view. We did the one night safari tour with them and everything was perfect, they took care of us from beginning to end. Very warm and kind people, thank you!!

I had such an amazing stay in Jaisalmer. The hostel is very clean and has a very relaxing atmosphere. The dorm rooms are very cozy and they provide very good blankets There are daily Yoga sessions and the Desert Safari was a once in a lifetime experience as well. There is a very nice rooftop area with a beautiful view over Jaisalmer. The staff and the owner Meer of the hostel are just amazing people, they know what hospitality means and they really try their best to make you feel at home. Thanks again and I hope I will be back in the futures

Location - located close to the fort and its a peaceful location Rooms- It's a newly constructed property. It looks exactly like shown in the picture. Rooms are quite spacious and decorated with vibrant traditional rajasthani decor. It is very clean and well maintained. Toilets are tidy with geyser facility. The bed is super comfortable and most rooms hav a nice balcony. Food-tried poha,Paratha,pasta,biryani and it was good. Hospitality - We initially checked in at 3am due to train delay and unfortunately as rooms were not clean , the staff apologized and was kind enough to waver off the room rent. Ali is a very wonderful host who guided us throughout our stay. Overall i must say it was one my best stays in rajasthan. Thanks to fotiya hotel family. Would definitely recommend this stay to anyone visiting Jaisalmer.

We had the best experience in India by far. We are two young female travelers and we can say that it is a place we recommend to other women and solo travelers. First of all, we arrived really early morning and our host was waiting for us at the train station so we could arrive the hotel safely and without paying a lot of money to other drivers. The rooms were super clean, really comfortable bed and the view is amazing. They let us do an early check-in and offered us chai on the roof top so we could see the sunrise. They offered us a quick city tour and then a Safari through Jaisalmer's dunes. The price for this experience was super accesible. If we wanted we could stay the night at the desert and enjoy of a nice meal there but we did not had the time to do that. It was really a magical experience and we highly recommended to go with them in this activity. We hope to comeback anytime soon. Everyone was super nice and took care of us till the last second we stayed.

The location is fabulous, 5 min walk to the fort and shopping area, with stunning views from the top terrace where the restaurant is. The spacious room, with great taste, overlooking the city and the fort. The super comfortable bed, the spacious bathroom, we rested like kings. Ali the hotel manager was very friendly and picked us up at the train station as a courtesy at no cost He has always been there and his recommendations were very valuable. Organised an authentic camel safari in Thar desert with family at a great price and also offered other tourist services unbeatable value Breakfast, tea, lunch and dinner on the top terrace are all very tasty and at a good price. Highly recommended and would love to come back to spend more time in the golden city of Rajasthan
